-Manage warehousing operations of a 28000 sqm warehouse with 8 level heavy duty pallet racking which can store approx 26000 pallets, radio shuttle with 256 tubes which can store 4600 pallets, Kardex remstar tower for autopick.
-Have played a vital role in streamlining the operations from vendor receiving to customer delivery.
-Over viewing stock put away, internal transfers, order management, wave planning, picking and order delivery to hospital endusers/warehouses.
-Process reengineering for WMS implementation. Actively participated in the planning, testing, training and implementation of Oracle WMS.
-Planned and implemented 2 shift workings were by increasing the staff productivity in CDC.
-Managing building maintenance, equipment maintenance and ensure fire safety norms are being followed as per HSE standards.
-Managing and controlling 4 teamleaders, 26 store operators and 12 hired labors.
-Preparation, review and submission of monthly operational reports to management.
Specific Responsibilities
•Manage the receipt, storage and issue of all stock items, aligning activities and schedules to ensure the timely distribution of stock items according to customer requirements
•Provide approvals as needed for warehouse operations before processing in the system
•Develop schedules and assign tasks that ensure the timely management of warehouse operations
•Develop strong knowledge and expertise in warehouse operations and how to handle goods within specialized commodities group in order to provide sound advice to subordinates and end-users
•Enforce the correct and secure storage of stock items, ensuring that losses due to damage, deterioration, and misappropriation are maintained at the minimum levels possible
•Conduct frequent sudden stock taking on different samples of store holdings and submit reports in results and any necessary corrective actions
•Ensure that proper procedures are followed in order to reduce deficiencies as much as possible during the stock taking process; cooperate on any deficiencies with the investigation committee and follow-up with staff if needed
•Manage and approve internal requests for consumption and transfer of inventory within HMC as well as requests for external clients
•Plan and manage the picking, packing, and shipping process for specialized commodities group
•Manage reverse logistics (including product recalls, returns, and exchanges) and provide approvals for all returned items before they are processed in the system and take the appropriate measures to make use of returned items in the shortest time possible
•Plan and order physical and cycle counts throughout the course of the year, ensuring accuracy of inventory quantities and values
•Manage the condemnation process, providing approval for requests and carrying out the advertisement, bidding, awarding, and sell out of the items
•Manage and approve assets receipts, labeling, tracking, and transfers
•Liaise with the Expediting Manager to coordinate efforts and ensure that expediting activities are supporting the needs of warehouse operations
•Liaise with Stock Control Analyst in order to coordinate schedules and the delivery of orders
•Collaborate with counterparts across Supply Chain Management to plan and align activities
•Provide advice to management and end-user departments on related supply matters
•Manage non-stock purchase requests for storage areas
•Provide a safe and conducive working environment for staff, ensuring that all statutory requirements relating to health and safety at work are met.
- Handling a Warehouse space of 1500 SQM for storage of high end tiles and sanitary items.
- Total staff on roll 35 nos and 25 labors hired from outside agency as per requirement.
- Planning daily activity 24 x 7 operations. Coordinating the daily customer deliveries and display requests for 15 retail outlets.
- Ensuring safety policies are followed and adhere to proper stock movement, loading, unloading and storage to reduce damages.
- To check with the supervisors if the orders are picked on time and order packed and ready for dispatch.
- Conducting stock counts weekly supplier wise and interact with auditors and management by sharing the reports.
- Liaising with Inventory and purchase department to get details of the planned shipments and new product/ design launches.
- Preparing monthly warehouse operational report to the management.
- Analyzing the warehouse cost and taking measures to reduce the same .
- Setting monthly operational improvement tasks and focusing to achieve the same.
- Analyzing staff performance and providing proper training system wise as well as to adheres to the warehouse as well as company policies.

Planning of Supply chain process after order placement, Order followup, logistics movement from supplier to Aura warehouse receipt and dispatch to store.
Warehouse
-Handling and monitoring 3PL team Warehouse functions.
-Adapting systems / policies / procedures for ensuring smooth functioning of the DC
-Coordinating the dispatches of the materials, from warehouse to shops as per their requirement.
-Verifying inventory for audit purpose and quarterly reconciliation.
-Conducting half yearly and yearly stock counts, check and correct any discrepancies
-Ensure a weekly and monthly cycle count is done and any stock discrepancies identified and informed for adjustment.
-Overview of the Receipts and transfers in and out the warehouse.
-Coordinating and ensuring accuracy of item deliveries to stores for stock transfer.
-Checking each risk factors of stocks loss and placing measures of safety to reduce the same.
-Arranging a quality spot check of new stocks to ensure no damages or quality flaws.
-Proficient use of our in house WMS ICG
-Ensure each item leaving from Warehouse for customer delivery is Quality checked and confirmed.
-Ensure that the safety standards in the warehouse are been followed.
-To identify monthly stock holding and identify fast and slow moving stocks to the merchandise department for action.
-Experience in new warehouse setting up and project coordination.
-Keeping track of all furniture damage on a monthly basis and taking corrective measure to repair / deluxe them and to write of non-repairable stocks.
-Cross check all receipts against the order and packing list to ensure stock receipt accuracy and raise claim to supplier for shortage or damages received.
-Recruitment and training of Warehouse personnel.
-Ensure that the staffs works and follow the company policies
Logistics & Operations
-Managing logistics functions, negotiating with transporters & C&F Agents for cost effective transport solutions & clearances.
-Coordinating with suppliers for order production follow-up, Ensure that order been delivered and shipped on time.
-Prepare reports at the end of each season to analyze the supply chain process, identify flaws or delays in the process and ensure proper measures are taken to over come the same.
-Prepare supplier ranking in regards of production time, order delivery and shipping.
-Checking of shipping documents and ensure it is as per the customs policy and procedure for smooth clearance.
-Follow up with customs house agents to ensure speedy clearance of shipments.
-Planning customer delivery in coordination with store.
-Handling project orders planning the supplying chain flow to ensure orders are delivered as per the agreed date.
-Appointing Forwards & Clearing agents for transportation and clearance.
-Putting up insurance, supplier claim in situations for damages and shortages and follow up, ensure the same is accepted by the suppliers or agents.
-Check and order missing or damage parts for items from supplier and ensure the same is received in time in the warehouse and delivered to customers.
-Monitoring the fleet of vehicles & transporters ensuring on time delivery & transit norms & analyzing the loss in transit and undertaking measures to control the same.
-Streamlining Distribution networks to ensure smooth product movement and their ready availability at all times.
-Conducting Agent meetings to ensure smooth operations of customs clearance and transportation.
-Adapting systems / policies / procedures for ensuring smooth functioning of procurement and materials management functions.
-Managing the customer delivery and installation team and ensure that the customer delivery is done on time and items installed as per the manual.
-Prepare monthly delivery efficiency report and circulate to top management or review.
