Partnered with a Bengaluru based Chartered Accountants firm providing sustainable solutions in the areas of Audits, Taxation, Advisory, Profitability & Cost management, Compliance & Control and Virtual CFO Service
Key responsibilities towards my client-partners include :
• Review of Business Activity’s monthly closing processes/ statements/ schedules / reconciliations - (P&L / Balance Sheet) before submission to management
• Review CMA Data for working Capital/term/corporate loans and FFR I
& II filings . Tax Ledger reconciliation /GST Input Tax Credit recons/GST Return Submission - GSTR1, 2, 3, 3B /RCM/LUT’s filings
• Present Management with ad-hoc MIS reports w.r.t financial policies, accounts receivables / payables, payroll, treasury while adhering to
corporate guidelines to enforce integrity of business transactions
• Partner with all stakeholders including Tax authorities /Auditors/Banks & Customers as well as act as a sounding board for management/owners.

Reporting to the ex-CFO as the Senior Finance Manager (from 2015), I worked with a multicultural team of 90 + direct / indirect reports to lead and consolidate the centralized finance & accounting operations of the MHD Group (+ $ 500M turnover, 1400+ staff )

• Functional Leadership
Took ownership of the Group Fin-Dept. deliverables’ through the leadership responsibility of the entire finance functions to support the CFO
• Financial Policies & Reporting Framework/ Exe-Team Interface
Ensured that Executive Management is always informed of the group's financial position/corporate activities and supported by delivering advice and counsel on key business issues, including strategy, distribution agreement, business planning, forecasting, investments, management reporting, internal controls and route to market structures in addition to ensuring integrity of accounting procedures and financial data
• Payables/Receivables Management
Enhanced control over Payables and Receivables. Took co-ownership of Collections through recovery plan of debtor outst--andings, re-negotiating payment terms, follow up with customers and implementing re-designed credit policies. Action resulted in +ve cashflow impact & 12% decline in Receivables
• Cost & Compliance Controls
Partnered the development of cost control and compliance strategies with budgets resulting in targeted cost reduction . Risk assessment and Resource optimization in line with Business Plans. Financial review of legal contracts, MOU’s, Joint-Venture and Agency agreements/Contracts
• Cashflow, Banking & Treasury Management
Constantly reviewed forecast Cashflow positions, Banking facilities, negotiated improved terms & sourced new credit lines from Banks under Consortium financing. Pro-actively mitigated the Balance Sheet currency risks.
• Corporate Taxation
Successfully led the Tax team & achieved continuous compliance with Statutory Laws, drove instrumental tax planning reforms across Group resulting in annual savings of $ 900K.
Implemented new document process flow resulting in reduction of manhours on Tax filing procedures from 20 to 12 days
