• Responsible for coordination of all technical activities for the assigned projects.
• Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices, hydro testing of piping /pipelines and handing over.
• Handled the erection of underground and above ground main pipelines and spur lines 17 no’s of various sizes 36”, 18”, 14”, 12”, 6” & 4”.
• Handled the cleaning, gauging, flooding, hydro testing, dewatering, swabbing, vacuum drying and nitrogen purging on all mentioned pipelines.
• Handled the station piping & structural works for the associated 32 stations (fabrication, erection, hydro testing, drying and purging).
• Handled the erection of static equipment’s like Glycol Heater, Diesel Storage tanks, generators, air compressors, condensate drain tank, KO drum & Gas Filters.
• Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants to ensure the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied.
• Preliminary site analysis to prepare drawings & sequence of execution plans
• Supervise pipeline repairs & maintenance activities such as valves, trap doors etc.
• Preparation of Fabrication drawings, method statement for execution, work schedule for approval, project equipment and manpower allotment spread sheets.
• To recognize when technical problems are developing in the pipeline disciplines, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions in time Coordinate with other site inspectors to resolve site execution problems.
• Report to project manager about the progress.
• Conduct weekly progress meeting with site engineers for pipeline activities, to monitor the progress and solve technical concerns
• Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.
• Monthly project status reports and change orders
• Monitor the deviation from the critical path of the project and provide timely suggestion to en route the project progress.
• Regular contact with assigned project Clients.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals.
• Budget monitoring.
• Participating in Client/contractor meetings and resolving Client/engineering and management project issues
Handling the task of INTEGRITY MANAGEMENT SERVICES routine & enhance maintenance in all INFRA structures and INTER station Pipelines, asset of PDO for all SOUR/High H2S gas pipeline.
Preparation of Technical Procedures and execution of Commissioning, De commissioning, Pipeline drying & suspension of pipelines.
Selection of suitable pig to increase cleaning efficiency for the suitable lines in order to fulfill integrity requirements.
Execution of gauge run, profile run, intelligent pigging with NGKS (Norway) to confirm the integrity of the pipelines.
Supervise pipeline repairs & maintenance activities such as valves, trap doors etc.
Involved in pipeline activities which includes maintenance, inspection and corrosion monitoring.
Plan for Shutdown to carry out major pipeline repair and lead maintenance crews to execute the same
Liaise with Integrity Engineer (PDO) to plan the scheduled preventive maintenance activities and to execute the work in time.
Perform responsibilities of managing internal and external inspections as well as access and enhance the remaining operational life of the pipelines
Plan and execute Pigging, Pig trap Maintenance, BVS maintenance, COSSASCO coupon retrieval / insertion, ROW & windrow inspection
• Handling the erection of Gas pipe lines on corridor sleeper, Underground pipelines, Duct bank piping, above ground pipelines
• Preparation, submission and agreeing of test packages with the client
• Performed pipeline walk through & preparation of punch list
• Involved in Tie in jobs from live pipe line (Benzene Flange to Flange Tie in, Fuel Gas pipelines) adhering to safety standards and specification.
• Preparation of piping layout, plot plan, preparation of BOM for new project.
