The project deals with assembling a new Infrared remote control for a Personal Computer. The assembled remote control would emit infrared signals to an IR receiver, which is connected to the USB port of the system. Using the remote control, signals such a volume control, log off, shut down, etc., could be sent to the IR receiver.
