-Operation of MCR according to program Run down schedule with manually and automation both. Monitoring the on-Air (uplink and downlink).
-Adobe Premiere Pro time line editing and preparing for On Air. Ingesting the tapes of program and news both. Switching ticker according time to time.
-Receiving, Capturing, Sourcing the different channel, Signals, feeds and put to different destinations like edit panel, MCR, PCR etc.
This was my first job after finishing my graduation. I was then hired as a Junior Broadcasting Engineer, later changed role and promoted into positions as a Technical Chief with progressive responsibility. During this time I developed my interest in working for audio Broadcast system in an IT environment and became more curious to work in a greater team in this particular domain. I learned a great deal of theoretical and practical knowledge on traditional business it infrastructure, audio visual production equipment’s and broadcast engineering technology through a lot of trial and error. My range of activities and responsibilities included the following:
Responsibilities:
-Work with Radio transmission unit EDDYSTONE Broadcast (UK) from the very beginning.
-Configure radio frequency of 101.6 MHz to 88.4 MHz, setup optical fiber link and STL system.
-FM Exciter, RDS, Modulation Analyzer, Omnia3fmt audio processor installs and configures.
-Supervision monitoring of duty and responsibilities, generate duty schedule of the junior staff.
-Ensuring 24/7 IT and Broadcasting Support for the FM (HD) Radio station.
