Functional Approach:- Branch Process effectiveness on life insurance functional areas

Branch Operations Part:-

•Executing underwriting processes for quality evaluation of policies, maintaining within defined TAT
•Establishing business processes for smooth functioning of the operations division
•Examine documents to determine degree of risk from such factors as applicant financial standing, value and medical health.
•Decline excessive risks.
•Write to field representatives to obtain further information, or explaining company underwriting policies.
•Evaluate possibility of losses due to catastrophe or excessive insurance.
•Preliminary Underwriting through scrutiny of the Insurance Proposal forms as per AML part.
•Handling walk-in customer queries and resolution.
•Tracking and securing renewals and frequent drives for revival campaigns e.g. go green
•Working on zero operations losses parameters
•handling Super High Net Income (SHNI) clients independently
•Ensuring the security, policies and audit procedures are followed as outlined by policy.
•Managing operations and customer service activities of a Center, in delivering financial services products to current and potential consumer and business customers, while meeting established plans and ensuring regulatory compliance
•Internal and external Customer sanctity initiatives
•Death Claim Settlement within TAT
•Drive 100% compliance to Polices and Controls to mitigate Risks
•Daily comprehension of MIS and reports.

Accounts and Admin Part:-

•Ensuring the petty cash proper usage and maintaining the necessary records pertaining to that
•Set up processes to ensure compliance to all statutory norms.
•Remitting the Cash/Cheque in the Bank
•Vendor Management and Housekeeping
•independently handle working relationships with the Bankers
•Ensuring the integrity of the company’s financial information.
•Achieve corporate deadlines for all reporting during the year.
•Updating and maintaining the fixed asset systems of the businesses, and ensure compliance in treatment capital expenditures.
•Assist in the implementation and ongoing development of Information Technology systems used throughout the business
•Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including taxation and any other regulatory body
•Manage all insurance claims management processes affecting the business of
•coordinating with Labor inspectors & sales Tax/service tax inspectors
•Bank related tasks, leave records

Training and HR part:-

•Maintaining individual training records schedule training sessions
•Training needs identification and analysis
•Training of branch sales team/Channel Partners
•Designing and developing training programmes, methodology, course coverage and context etc
•Evaluate and monitor the quality of training program, Maintain a training MIS
•providing professional support and assistance on recruitment process
•scheduling interviews and other hiring activities.
•Conducting HR induction programs for new hires including briefing on employee code of conduct and HR policies.
• Managing Employees for attendance on Daily Basis
