Monitoring various activities pertaining to cleaning of Rooms & Pest Control, Public Areas, Facilities, Service Corridors, Linen, Uniform, Laundry and Garden.
Implementing housekeeping policies and standardizing systems / processes, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Coordinating with all housekeeping contractors (Pest Control, Flower, Machine Maintenance, etc.).
Preparing annual departmental budgets prior to every financial year.
Checking quality of housecleaning in guest rooms & suites.
Resource Management
Indenting & distribution of all Guest Room supplies. Ensure minimum wastage & pilferage.
Coordinating with the purchase department & suppliers of housekeeping cleaning agents, guest supplies & equipments and maintaining the housekeeping stores.
Controlling manpower, consumables and equipment functionality.
Processing supplier bills and making comparative statements of the vendors.
Team Management
Handling a team of Asst. Housekeeper, Sr. Supervisors, HK. Supervisors, Houseboys and Gardner.
Training the staff for maximizing productivity and maintaining all relevant record regarding training.
Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and motivates high performance amongst team members.
