Worked with SAUDI BINLADIN GROUP (SBG) as Mechanical Engineer, where I worked in installing the mechanical systems in a particular building such as:
Fire Fighting Systems (FFS)
• In this system I worked with the various types of the firefighting connections and pipes such as welded, ductile and Mechanical joints and the system pumps itself.
• When I’m through from one complete system (connection & joints) I run a pressure test around 10-14 bars for the system to make sure everything is under control.
Water Supply Systems (WSS)
• In this system I’m dealing with the connection of the supplied water to the building with the CPVC pipes and joints.
• After connecting the system I conduct a pressure test around 2-4 bars.
Drainage Systems (DRS)
• In this system I’m dealing with the connection of the Drained water coming from the building and going to main hall of the sewage system and the rain water coming from the roof of the building.
• The most important thing in this system is the slope of the pipes and its directions, where the slope ratio was 1 to 100 and the pressure test was conducting on 1 bar.
Ducting Systems (DCS)
In this system the things that I was handling were the connection of the ducts, such as flange type or G-bolt type.
And the tests that I had conducted were Smoke & light tests.
Air Handling Units (AHU)
In this section I used to install the AHU according to the given or required specification of each unit and its capacity.
All the systems above were installed according to the given drawings and calculations made for it by the design and planning department in the company which must consider the standards and the qualification of each system regarding to newest and moderated systems around the world, in this job also, I learned how to control and deal with the foreman’s and labors at the best way I can be with them.
