• Designing of 11kV, 33kV substations & 11/66kV, 11/132kV, 33/132kV switchyard and its equipment sizing & calculation.
• Provide Techno-Commercial support to front-end sales team for pre-order activities and post order activities.
• Provide technical consultation for equipment selection, design optimization to reduce project cost, carry out all design activities with the objective of success of the project in terms of quality as per IS/IEC standards.
• Technically scrutinize enquiry / tenders from Customers, pre bid queries, technical offer complete with Solution Architecture, Visit clients to understand their requirements better.
• Introduced 1500 volts system for the first time which helps in reducing Balance of system in DC side upto 25%.
• Reduced Balance of system upto 25% by introducing multi inverter input and single output systems which in turn decrease using No. of Transformers, RMU’s, cable and reduce civil construction costs at least by 20-25%.
• Identifying suitable substations at less distance which helps in reduce transmission line construction for long distances and right of way issues during construction.
• Coordinate with procurement for floating of enquiries, receipt of quotation, techno commercial discussions, order placement, factory inspection, issue of material despatch clearance, timely delivery and site service report.
• Ensures the quality and integrity of design and project deliverables including design budget, system/architecture documentation, design documentation, functional specification and design verification
• Preparation of BOM, load list, single line diagram, plant layout, equipment layouts, cable route and tray layouts.
• Equipment sizing like switchgears, panels, transformers, inverters, array box, UPS, battery and battery charger sizing.
• Exposure to electrical power system studies through solar PV system sizing & calculation through PV Syst.
• Preparing of project schedules as per the commissioning dates and regular follow-ups to meet the timelines.
• Inspection of Electrical Equipment at Manufacturer’s works.
• Assisting in Approval of installation by Statutory Authorities.

• Having experience in HT designing of more than 300 MW of PV solar power projects in Punjab (34 MW) & 28 MW, Karnataka (10 + 10 MW), UP (10 MW), Rajasthan (2*40 MW & 20 MW) & 35 MW, Andhra Pradesh (50 MW) & Chhattisgarh (30MW) in last Financial Year 2014-15.
• Designing experience of PV solar plants with evacuation voltage levels of 11 kV, 33 kV, 66 kV and 132 kV.
• Cost optimisation at least 5-10 % from one project to another by using new technologies. Designed Building block designs to reduce time for execution.
• Reduced Balance of system upto 25% by introducing multi inverter input and single output systems which in turn decrease using No. of Transformers, RMU’s, cable and reduce civil construction costs at least by 20-25%.
• Identifying suitable substations at less distance which helps in reduce transmission line construction for long distances and right of way issues during construction.
• Follow-up with Internal & External departments in obtaining required approvals for power plant construction & commissioning activities.
• Inspection of Electrical Equipment at Manufacturer’s works.
• Assisting in Approval of installation by Statutory Authorities.
• Handling activities right from the conceptualization stage of project designing; involving scheduling, progress monitoring, finalization of design basis & technical specifications, procurement and work scheduling.
• Provide Techno-Commercial support to front-end sales team for pre-order activities and post order activities.
• Preparation of technical specifications and material requisition for procurement of different electrical equipment complying with all project specification & requirements, safe electrical design philosophy, IS/IEC standards.
• Responsible for ensuring the architecture, design and specification documentation meets the needs of all stake holders such as service, manufacturing, quality, reliability, sustaining engineering team, etc.
• Ensures the quality and integrity of design and project deliverables including design budget, system/architecture documentation, design documentation, functional specification and design verification.
• Execution of Internal and External Electrification works for multi-storied program providing all requirements of 11 KV Distribution Transformers.
• Make Engineering calculations with field and office assignment.
• Manage the Project Schedules, Budgets, Material Estimation & Material procuring using ERP.
• Planning the job by considering available manpower and resources to get best results and higher productivity.
• Estimating of Total Electrical Quantities required for Project.
• Preparation of Running bills through ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
• Issuing work orders through ERP.
