and Responsibilities in Operation Theatre:
•Directs and supervises all the administrative and clinical activities in the operative theatre premises including the preoperative holding area and recovery room.
•Coordinates with the head of the department of Anesthesiology in scheduling of surgeries based on the OT booking forms received.
•Assists in the development of unit policies and procedures, which involves patient care issues.
•Responsible for preparation of daily reports, monthly statistics and reporting of key performance indicators.
•I had the strong responsibility for setting up the protocols in the liver transplant operation theatre and I developed a team of nurses in supporting those protocols in my previous hospital.
•Performed scrub duties in all general surgeries including Liver Transplant, Urology, Laproscopic surgeries, Vascular surgeries and assisted in the maintenance of instruments, equipment and supplies.
•Assisted in preparation, transportation and supervision of patients.
