(ASHGHAL) for Package P006 & P012, Al Muntaza extension & East Industrial Road with interchanges, flyovers
Underpasses, tunnel, pavement, Utility, ITS and SCADA works.
Job Profile:
• Preparation of Project Quality Plan and processes, Project Management Plan & Project Execution Plan.
• Establishing, implementing & Monitoring Quality Management System.
• Advising the staff for establishing Quality objectives and KPIs
• Ensuring the implementation of company’s policies, procedures and objectives.
• Providing support and guidance to S.R.E. and project team related to Quality matters and issues.
• Contractor’s performance evaluation.
• Review and Monitoring contractor’s QMS
• Monitoring client established KPIs.
• Management Review meetings.
• Audits, Quality Site walk and site surveillance.
• Quality Meetings with the Contractors.
• Weekly and Monthly Quality reports, Ashghal QA/QC Questionnaire reports, Asphalt pavement report and various other reports to PMC
• Risk management Co-ordination
• Action Item Co-ordination.
• Coordination with PMC for compliance of the requirements.
• Coordinating trainings, Quality toolbox talk.
• Identifying causes of non-compliances (root causes), identify corrective actions and follow-up of CARs, NCRs and ANCRs for closure.
• Analysis of various data and trends for monitoring and continual improvement.
• Striving for continual improvements in project performance.
Design-Build Project for Construction Package CP-11 - Airline Support Facilities, CP-26 - Maintenance Hanger & CP-94- Airline operation Facilities costing QR 2.5 Billion, 3.5 Billion, 500 Million managed by Overseas Bechtel Incorporated (OBI)
•Inspection & Testing of road works, asphalt works, sub base & base course, earthworks, form-work, reinforcement, concrete, waterproofing works, piling, foundations, procured materials, workmanship of installed works, finishes, mockups, structural, civil & architectural works etc.
•Develop and implement project quality plan and procedures as per ISO 9001 standards and client requirements.
•Monitor project quality management system by initiating audit schedule internal & external audit activities.
•Coordinate with department manager & project manager for identification & adoption of improvement of current project quality management system & procedures.
•Guide the team by providing necessary instruction and training in all aspects of the applied Quality System.
•Take part in Environment, Health & Safety awareness program.
•Implementing quality awareness program including weekly quality tour & quality meeting with client & consultants.
•Prepare, review and approve ITPs, MS, MDS, procedures, prequalification of vendors & subcontractors with responsibility regarding project quality documents.
•Leading the entire project team consisting quality department staff, QC engineers, QC inspectors & site Laboratory and in the process of Quality System matters including initiating technical query & design changes on demand.
•Successfully managing subcontractors and vendors and maintaining liaison with MEP contractors & engineers.
•Implement A & PA action and various processes to comply with quality standards.
•Effectively established and measured KPIs for key processes
•Managing entire quality reports and documentation, final handover documentation and snagging/de-snagging/punch works.
Project Brief: This project comprised of U1 Tower- 3B+G+39 Story High-rise commercial/residential Tower at UI & Multi Story Car Parking Garages with three level underground parking at Jumeirah Lake Towers. It also included, construction of Asphalt roads & concrete payments including footpaths, curbstones, walkways, interlock tiles, manholes, pits, storm drainages, gratings, road & pavement markings, Traffic signage, external lighting all around cluster as well as earthwork, R.C.C. works, mass concreting, waterproofing, dewatering, raft foundation, elevated slabs, ramps, HVAC system, MEP works, utility services, doors, windows, floor coatings and finishes.
Job Profile:
• Shouldered overall responsibilities of inspecting and supervising works for construction of asphalt roads & concrete payments, footpaths, curbstones, walkways, interlock tiles, manholes, pits, storm drainage, gratings, u/g utility works, road & pavement markings, traffic signage, external lighting, materials & workmanship of concrete, form-work, reinforcement, earthworks and all civil & architectural works to verify compliance with ITP, specs & standards.
• Coordinated with construction staff and lab to perform field tests, inspections and prepare test reports accordingly.
• Ensured implementation of Quality procedures, ITPs & Method statements are carried out.
• Assisted QA QC manager for verification & improvement of project quality of sub contractors & vendors and various departments through formal internal & external Audits.
• Coordinated with consultants & client for approvals of inspections, material test reports, JAFZA inspection etc.
• Maintained inspection records, reports, approvals and all other documents as per quality procedure.
• Initiated NCRs for works not complying with the required quality, specs, and contract and client requirements.
• Controlled non-conformance products & materials by implementing corrective & preventive actions.
