Manage and support a storage area network (SAN) environment consisting of Linux, VMware, Solaris and Windows servers; Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) and EMC storage controllers; Brocade SAN switches and inter-switch links.
Provision storage capacity from HDS and EMC storage controllers for various business units across the different server platforms.
Configure and manage synchronous and asynchronous replication between storage controllers across three data centres situated in different locations.

Identify, understand and plan client hardware requirements.
Prepare motivational documents for required enterprise hardware such as Dell, Fujitsu, HP, SUN, HDS and EMC.
Acquire approval from executive management for motivational documents.
Regular vendor communication and engagement to sustain a partnership that delivers business solutions and to keep abreast with newer technologies.
Ensure that all hardware is delivered to the specified location on the specified date.
