Hold P&L accountability for Go to Market (GTM) operations across 20 countries in the Middle East and Central Asia (~$250M in annual revenues) across direct and channel customers and product & integration services and software & support services P&Ls. Create financial and business plans, including underlying analyses of operational capabilities and market potential. Provide timely, insightful financial recommendations and close on support to the regional General Manager to enable business growth and profitability. Evaluate RFP/ bids to ensure financial and commercial viability. Design and roll out sales incentive plans region-wide. Lead team of finance professionals in the Middle East, w/ indirect oversight of support teams in Shared Services locations in Poland. Manage legal entities across various markets; ensure tax / statutory compliance across 14 countries.
 Enabled a 32% CAGR regional business growth from 2013 to 2018 and record backlogs of over $500M during this period. Structured and negotiated large, complex public safety contracts worth $750M, successfully mitigating financial, commercial and operational risks and improving project cashflows. Partnered with project delivery and sales team to meet committed forecast revenue, margin and cash commits consistently.
 Served as a key catalyst in driving margin expansion: Engaged effectively with Sales, Pre-sales, Procurement, and Project delivery teams to assure optimum pricing through improved rigor on outgoing bids and driving direct labor and 3rd party equipment and services cost reductions in ongoing projects resulting in a 400-bps margin expansion for FY18.
 Generated $2.1M in cost savings thru business and process restructuring. Collaborated with HR and Business on an evaluation of the entire 150-member headcount in the region, playing a key role in analyzing costs and their wide-ranging impact. Enabled reduction of the Dubai real estate footprint by ~50%, producing half a million-dollar in recurring savings annually.

Provided financial and business leadership / support across all enterprise, government, and public safety network businesses of Motorola Solutions India during a challenging period (organization-wide restructuring via Motorola’s spin-off of its Mobility business). Directed a team of 40 across 3 divisions and served at the financial forefront of this widespread change for a complex operation (4 legal entities including STPI facilities and a manufacturing unit).
Held P&L and balance sheet responsibility, created annual business/financial plans, structured and negotiated contracts, and ensured both statutory and regulatory compliance. Supported the General Manager in anticipating and bridging performance gaps, as well as driving strategic decisions for growth and emerging needs goals.
•Played key role in the successful, on-schedule spin-off of Motorola’s Mobility business in India in 2011, enabling the Motorola to meet its global deadlines. Collaborated with Legal, Business, and other division heads to strategize the most efficient tax structure for the spin-off, resulting in a “court-approved slump sale” (involving enterprise valuation, structuring of Local Asset Transfer Agreements, and tax outcome optimization).
•Collaborated with the Business Lead on a major customer account regarding a revised account strategy, leading to a multi-year managed devices contract that prevented the customer from departing to a competitor. Enabled the company to increase the volume of the devices 5x and lock out competition over the next 5 years.
•Successfully defended and mitigated risks of aggressive direct and indirect tax demands. About $100M of service tax demands and several ‘10s of USDM of income tax/ TP related demands defended.

•Increased transparency of project / balance sheet risks to senior management and built trusting relationships with both the project and sales teams to prioritize resolution of financial issue.
