a pioneer in the construction industry in the MENA region with
prestigious projects spread across UAE, Oman, Iraq, Libya, Jordan, Mauritius,
Yemen, Sri Lanka, and India - As their Group
Implemented strategies to incorporate United States Green Building Council's
(USGBC) Green Building directives/requirements at various projects related to
Qatar Foundation/Qatar Petroleum; prominant amongst them being the National
Museum of Qatar (Valued at approximately 400 million USD and is designed by
Jean Nouvel).
• As the LEED Champion, I was completely instrumental in applying LEED
requirements and concepts to the entire ENABLING works of this project and
managed all regulatory requirements for HSE compliance.
• Overall advisory responsibility for Health and Safety programs and
implementation there of.
Wade Adams is a leading infrastructure project development and construction
company based in the Middle East and North Africa. I worked as their
Responsibilities include but not limited to Regulatory compliance, liaisoning with
the Government ministries and the Petroleum Development of Oman (PDO)
Projects.
• Project manager for the largest oil-contamination remediation project (Zauliyah-
16/A shell Oil project) in Oman; estimated value of USD 25.9 Million.
• Advisory and management role in the handling, storage and transportation of
naturally occurring radioactive materials (NORM) at various PDO Projects
establishing Sustainability and HSE relted study within the
Management School at AIMS, Bangalore.
• Consulting with various stakeholders and NGOs working in the field of
Sustainability, Green Building concepts and Circular Economy.
• Invested time in sabatical; where in I explored the ground realities of
HSE/Environmental regulatory framework in India, mainly the Bangalore
Urban/Metropolitan Areas
Conducted HSE Audits, implemented pollution prevention plans; liaison and
closely work with various international, federal and state entities to ensure
compliance with applicable regulations.
• EHS evaluations of product designs, process modifications/facility changes;
established/carried out written occupational safety/health programs.
• oversaw and managed ISO 14001 certification for the over 18 Biomedical research
and medical device manufacturing facilities across the nited States and the
Netherlands.
• Collaborated with packaging engineers in re-designing product packaging,
resulting in cost savings and utilization of more eco-friendly material saving over
USD 15 Million.
• Awarded the State of Minnesota Governor's Award for HSE performance.

I completed my 2 years 8 months Research Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering under full funding (Research and Teaching Assistantships) from the Depart of Civil and Environmental Engineering at NDSU. My research study on " Sidestream Ammonia Reduction in a Wastewater Treatment Plant Supernatant using Lime Sludge from a Water Treatment Plant" was widely acclaimed and published as proceedings, of the American Water Environment Federation conference WEFTEC- ASIA, Singapore.
