ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
o Leading a team of Supervisors/Foreman/First-class mechanics/Technicians/Plant mechanics (100 +) to execute
the jobs in Safe & efficient manner and abiding by all the SHE regulations.

o Reviewing of work instructions and procedures related to maintenance activities. Also reviewing of Maintenance
manuals from EPICC to ensure the contents are according to the Company standard.
o Reviewing of SPIRs, Startup spares, Capital spares and Special tools provided by EPICC.
o Participates in 3D review of plant, commissioning & startup walkthrough’s to ensure the accessibility and
maintainability of equipment’s.
o Coordinates with EPICC, PMT and Company specialist to witness the critical test and activities.
o Carrying out regular Inspection of equipment’s & checking the status of spares and supervise all the repairs until
equipment box up.
o Participates in preparation of scope of work for Maintenance contracts, pre-qualification and technical bid
evaluation for Maintenance contracts.
o Coordination with Machine shop, valve shop, welding, construction, and inspection and operation departments.
o Managing contractors for the support services such as scaffolding, hydro blasting, chemical cleaning, insulation,
on-stream leak sealing & painting jobs. Preparation for the shutdown activities including preparation of Hydro
test plans, isolation methodology, etc.
o Planning for the spares, Heavy equipment, Scaffolding, hydro blasting, chemical cleaning & On-stream leak
sealing jobs required for the jobs scheduled.
o Upkeep test rings, special tools, blinds/spades and maintaining the inventory (tool/spares) in the site stores for
the equipment Preventive, routine & Shutdown maintenance.
o Coordination with welding crew while executing Project jobs and its Tie-in’s.
o Ensures employees are in compliance with company policies and performs other duties as required.
o Responsible for carrying out housekeeping and startup check list jobs prior to unit/plant start up.
o Maintains a safe work place and is responsible for housekeeping, shop cleanliness and orderliness, and reports
unsafe conditions.
o Prepares the list of basic and special PPE requirements according to the MSDS used.
o Demonstrates visible commitment to HSE by periodically leading/taking part in risk assessments, audits, HSE
meetings, emergency drills, etc. Ensures assigned staff complies with all company HSE policies & procedures
and related initiatives.
o Ensuring that safety procedures are implemented during the execution of the work. Reviewing of JHA for the
site maintenance activities; Participating in toolbox talks.
