Responsibilities:
• Responsible for developing New Products under spice mix category (such as Paneer Butter Masala, Paneer Tikka Masala, Veg Kolhapuri Masala etc.).
• Support the team in commercialization of new products in coordination with cross functional teams. For instance, contributed to the successful launch of Fresh Idli and Dosa batter in newly installed process line.
• Conducting laboratory trials to optimize formulations for new and existing products.
• Conducting shelf-life studies for new products including physical and chemical analysis.
• Cost optimization for existing products.
• Vendor development for new and existing RM ingredients.
• Drafting of finished product specifications, new RM specifications, process documents like flow charts, SOPs, etc.
Providing consultancy to the clients for the design, development, implementation and
maintenance of various management systems, including:
- BRCGS Food Safety issue 8, FSSC 22000 V5.1, ISO 22000:2018, HACCP, GMP/GHP to
organizations with different nature of business-like Seasoning, Flavours, RTD, Fruits &
Vegetable Products, Biscuits, Namkeens, Frozen fruits and Vegetables.
- Conducting Gap Assessments and Internal Audits at client site regularly basis followed by audit
report preparation as per the standard requirement.
- Conducting root cause analysis with the client team members, recommending corrective
actions for closure of non-conformities to prevent re-occurrence.
- Assist clients in managing external audits and inspections.
- Identified training needs, designed, and delivered the same to shop floor workers.
- Assist clients for handling customer complaints, maintaining food safety objectives up to the
mark, conduction of mock recalls and Management reviews as per defined frequency.
- Supporting clients to manage all verification tasks, including process parameter monitoring,
adherence to GMPs, PRP inspections and related activities.
-Preparation of documents including risk assessment, SOPs, Work instructions, SSOPs for the
implementation of ISO 22000:2018.
-Recipe standardization and preparation of finished goods specifications as per FSSAI
standards.
- Responsible for ensuring mock traceability and Management reviews as per the defined
frequency.
- Daily monitoring and verification of cleaning & sanitation checks before and after the
production runs.
- Communication to production and quality team in case of any non-conformance is recorded at
shop floor, conducting root cause analysis, and taking appropriate corrective and preventive
measures to prevent re-occurrence.
- CCP/OPRP validation and verification.
- Selection, evaluation and re-evaluation for new and existing raw material and packaging
material suppliers.
