• Working with 2D & 3D CAD software’s such as AutoCAD, Solid works etc. to create 3D models and 2D detailing of production drawings as per the requirements of the product.
• Meeting with various Parties such as Main contractor, Sub-contractor, Suppliers for on time planning, scheduling, delivery & installation of Production items for site.
• Co-ordinate with internal departments such as production, design and procurement department for planning and delivery of fabricated steel items.
• Attend site meeting with various personnel such as Project manager, Site supervisor and Safety to ensure the client’s feedback is effectively incorporated.
• Keep the project related Inspection documents, Material Approvals, NCR and Quality inspection records in orderly manner
• Create documents for production, cutting plan and Bill of materials for the product.
• Guiding staffs and workers regarding technical issues and documentation from project start to completion basis.
• Performing risk assessment, problem analysis and troubleshooting any design and technical related issues to ensure smooth production.
• Procurement of material required for factory and on-site erection works to maintain a smooth flow of operations.
• Involved in various projects such as Steel Auditorium for Government schools, roofing works, apartment building works, Sheikh Private Villas etc.
• Provide design support for product modifications, cost reductions, manufacturing process improvements and other technical support activities
• Providing training to the Manufacturing personnel for efficient and effective implementation of Design Standards.
• Involved in Special Product Design through AutoCAD and 3d Software’s like Creo (PRO-E), Solid works,
• Implementing GD&T ANSI Y 4.5, ISO standards to the design and ensuring proper tolerance is made.
• Responsible for preparing Product Technical Specification (PTS), BOM, Test Instructions, User Manual and Assembly Work Instructions (AWI)
• Provide design support for product modifications, cost reductions, manufacturing process improvements and other technical support activities
• Create design specifications, design proposals and/or product designs that meet customer requirements
• Participate in customer, project and design review meetings relating to project assignments.
• Providing training to the Manufacturing personnel’s for efficient and effective implementation of Design Standard
• Implementing production line for the new product with Standard and special purpose machines.
• Involved in creating FMEA, PFA, Work standard Procedure, Machine layout drawings for implementing new production line for the company.
• Manage the fabrication status for the new SPM machines in the vendor companies and ensuring that it comes under company budget and deadline.
• Designing the machine with suitable fixtures, Pneumatic controls, sensors and other output controlling instruments according to the designed product.
• Testing machines in the new line with Quality control procedure to ensure the proper production standards are met.
• Procurement of Spare parts from various vendors and suppling to the production team for emergency and regular maintenance.
• Identifying new systems and processes to drive quality, efficiency and save costs.
• Plan effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time, to standard and to budget.
• Giving proper training to the production team about the SOP and possible causes of failure.
• Giving Training to the maintenance team about the operation failures, root causes and how to avoid it in future.
