Presently working as Dy Manager (Electrical Maintenance) with Dubai Electricity and water Authority (DEWA), UAE at their Combined Cycle Power and Desalination Plant consisting of GE 9FA Gas Turbines, Toshiba Steam Turbines, Desalination Plant and associated BOPs including Diesel and Gas Fuel receiving and unloading stations.
Leading the electrical maintenance team and responsible for day to day routine maintenance, trouble shooting, preparation & utilization of budget for long and short term maintenance, reporting and documentation of quality, environment and safety management system related to power and desalination plant ensuring safety and reliability. Ensuring adequate spare parts and material for the planned work and periodic review of the same. Planning and execution of major overhauling of electrical equipments like Hydrogen cooled Generators, Generator circuit breakers and transformers. Implementation of technical modifications required after conducting RCA to avoid recurrence. Training of subordinates.
Work also involves review new proposed projects technical specification, material selection, engineering documents and its implementation in liaison with concerned departments. Assist in SAP Implementation of maintenance module and smooth migration from the existing MAXIMO system.
Major equipment installed at site involves GE make Hydrogen cooled Generators, GE make Excitation EX2100 and static start LCI, GE multilin/ABB protection relays, ABB MV switchgears, MV/LV Motors, VFD, Battery Chargers and UPS, EHV/MV transformers
Worked as Dy Manager (Electrical) with NTPC Ltd. the leading power utility in INDIA with total installed capacity of 23000MW, at their 2200MW Enron Project at Dabhol India Combined Cycle Power Project with integrated LNG terminal site consisting of 6No.s GE frame 9FA Gas turbines and 3 No.s of GE Steam Turbines.
Responsible for providing Technical support for Routine Maintenance, Commissioning and Troubleshooting of GE Gas turbine and steam hydrogen cooled generators, GE Excitation system EX2000 and static start LCI, GE Multilin Generator protection Relays, HT / LT Motors and Protective relays, VFD drives 400kV ABB Switch Yard Equipments and associated Protection relays, EHT / HT Power Transformers, DC systems and GePowervac MV switchgears and Testing of Protection interlock Schemes.
Planning Preventive Maintenance and Procurement of material and spares.
Analysis of electrical related issues and developing solutions / modifications for nonoccurrence of the same. Implementing Corporate Engineering Recommendations at site. Supporting Testing of EX-2000 GE static excitation and LCI static Start system of GE generator along with GE personnel.
Prior to that involved in health assessment as a team member of Take Over Team for the stalled 2100MW combined cycle power project
Worked as Senior Engineer Electrical Maintenance with NTPC Ltd. India, at their 360MW Modern Combined Cycle Power Project consisting of GE Frame 9E gas turbines at Kayamkulam.Responsibility involves Conducting regular Preventive/Break down maintenance on HT/LT switchgears, DC sytems, Generator relay panel, AVR, HT transformer and LT Motors.
Ensure compliance with ISO9001, ISO 14000 and OHSAS requirements. Identification of root cause of problems. Repair/modifications of the system to avoid recurrence. Procurement of material and spares. Conducting Generator relay testing and energy meter calibration.
Worked as Shift -in-Charge at 110kV substation of KSEB at Cherupuzha sub station Kerala, India.
BACHELORE OF TECHNOLOGY IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

Under gone one year rigorous training on Power Plant Familiarisation involving Erection, Commissioning ,Operation, and Maintenance at different major Power Stations of National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd, India.
