Job Description:
Job involves Designing, Implementing & Commissioning of Control System for different water treatment technologies. Which includes Software designing, Control system hardware selection and automation of pneumatic systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Technical review and feasibility study of specifications for the control systems.
Determining the IO count for PLC from P&ID & generating the suitable system based on it.
Preparation of all necessary documentation for handing over including Functional Design Specifications, Safety Design Specifications, Integrated Detection System, FAT/SAT procedures, O & M Manuals, client correspondences.
Preparation, simulation and installation of SCADA/HMI screens and PLC programs.
Designing of Electrical Panels, selection and installation of switch gears, VFD Integration, Equipment selection for actuation of pneumatic control valves and electrical CAD drawings.
Installation and commissioning of various instruments including Flow, conductivity, pH/ORP, Pressure and temperature.
Providing Communication support to the client for DCS applications.
Providing remote assistance to the technical teams for troubleshooting of already installed Plants.
Writing the control system literature for 3rd party projects correspondences.
Responsible for control system software programming and hardware selection which includes following:
Multi PID loops for flow, working alone or parallel.
Multi Communication over different protocols, including RS232, RS485, modbus & Ethernet.
Working & Standby Equipment auto decisions with customized user selection.
Multi VFDs integration, which included auto selection of controlled Pumps or blowers.
Plant startup initialization and stop sequences as per plant process control philosophy.
Safety Interlocks, Emergency stops and shutdown sequences.
Logging, trending and history of plant operations including auto log sheet (excel) generation.

PLC Programming: Siemens Simatic, Mitsubishi Gx Developer, Allen Bradley RS Logix
SCADA Packages: Siemens WinCC, WinCC Flex, Allen Bradley Factory Talk View
Operator Panel Programming: Weintek, Mitsubishi GOT, Allen Bradley Panelview, Siemens Multi Panel
Communication Protocols: PROFIBUS, MODBUS, Ethernet
Programming Languages: Ladder, STL, C++, VBS Scripts
Instrumentation: Pressure, Temperature, pH, ORP. Conductivity, Flow (Mag - meters, paddle wheel), DO
Frequency Drives: Mitsubishi FRF-700, Siemens Micromaster, Delta, & ABB Gemini II
Awareness of Standard: Zone Classification, IP Ratings, SIL levels, intrinsic safety & Explosion Protection.

Commissioning: Successfully commissioned more than 20 projects in different industries.

Job Responsibilities included:
Planning and Managing the Project execution.
Leading the Team for different Projects in the field.
Preparation of System Configuration/Architecture Drawing, HMI Layouts & Sketches for Client Review and Panel Wiring & Termination Drawing in AutoCAD.
Developing/configuring SCADA systems and HMIs including Graphics Development.
PLC Logic Development and Commissioning.
Performing field deployment and testing of the Project.
Participant of an International Competition Held at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The goal was to design a car which would be capable of doing the most distance in least amount of fuel. Designed Vehicle used Ethanol (E100) fuel. The design followed all the R & Ds; a 70CC engine was modified for Ethanol Combustion, which makes it World’s 1st lower cc Ethanol engine. The car itself became Pakistan’s 1st Ethanol (E100) car. We appeared on “Dunya News Tv Channel Pakistan” and “Express News Tv Channel Pakistan” for our demanding project outline; as our project provides a better fuel alternate than Gasoline. The Car stood 1st among 9 different Teams from Pakistan, 4th in Ethanol Category, with overall 30th ranking among 124 different teams.
