In 2016 QuintilesIMS has become IQVIA and in March 2017 I was selected to manage the payer-provider-group a new business unit in Egypt to provide technology and services to the healthcare sector, I am responsible of:
Managing PPG projects in Egypt and the region including Universal Health Insurance Project in Egypt and assisting in SHIB project in KSA.
Building a Global Delivery Center in Egypt for the Payer Provider business to operate and support the business either remotely or on-site for the Middle East countries.
Managing 30 employees in five teams to support different functions and systems in the business.
Perform all presales activities like collecting the customer’s requirements, analyzing data, optimizing suitable solutions and presenting demos when needed.
Managing the projects delivery in all their phases.
Building strong working relationship with project’s key stakeholder to ensure commitment and involvement, and to encourage effective collaboration throughout the lifespan of the project.
Establishing monitoring and evaluation systems to track project progress and streamline operations using Results-Based management principles, including the project logical framework, Performance Monitoring Plan and (SMART) key performance indicators, ensuring data integrity and validation. Review and follow-up on milestones and deliverables prepared by team and report status to management, outlining achievements versus plan, faced challenges, lessons learned and suggestions for improvement
Identify internal and external risks, evaluate and prioritize strategic solutions to eliminate/mitigate them by assigning responsibility and contingency plans.
Create Project plans, detailed agreements and manage the scope of work of different parties and stakeholders.
Manage the team’s performance with both yearly SMART goals and evaluation for corporate core values.
Building a strong understanding for the Egyptian market and studying the feasibility of
implementing current onboard products vs. new developed products.
Understanding customer’s needs and use a mix of the best-of-breed technologies and our portfolio
of services to produce the best matching solution that helps the customer achieve his target and
improve his business.
Studying and comparing our portfolio of products against other competing products in the market,
and evaluating our potential market share per product.
Building and directing a strong team to develop, implement, and support the potential solutions.
Building strong relationship with customers, employees and vendors.
Building and enhancing the workflow in the team to regularly optimize performance and effort.
Directing the team to meet deadlines and targets approved with the customers.
Coordinating internally with other departments to facilitate data transfer and on time release of
outcomes.
Increase our big data repository to QuintilesIMS with valued data.

Summary of responsibilities:
• Responsible for all aspects of IT management & leadership within Cegedim's Egyptian affiliate.
• Manage Data Base and Application servers farm in France to provide application services to our customers in EMEA region and South Africa.
• Provide needed consultancy to customers to build and integrate our applications in their environment.
• Report directly to the Affiliate's General Manager, while leading and directing four teams.
• Worked closely in partnership with IT department in France to apply the corporate standards.
• Manage technical project implementation for CRM applications.
IT Budget preparation, Planning, and controlling
Establishing and implementing IT policies and procedures
Designing, installing, configuring, administering, troubleshooting, and upgrading IT Infrastructure network servers and technologies, LAN, WAN and remote access services
Manage HP Blade servers C7000 with Cisco SAN switches and EVA4400 Fiber SAN storage.
Assess Edita's current technological systems and needs, recommending, procuring and implementing system upgrades.
Build a Secure network infrastructure and securing the clients and servers against viruses, malicious SW and hackers.
Implement the best of bread IT systems that assist the company to achieve its goals
Scheduling backups and security upgrades of hardware and software systems
Ensuring that IT facilities meet the needs of individuals and projects
Providing secure access to the network for remote users
Mentoring and training new IT staff; Keeping up to date with the latest technologies
Ensuring the smooth running of all IT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email system;
