- Managing projects from conception, pre-production through to completion.
- Proving technical support to the project team and wider regional teams.
- Responsible for overseeing the review, initiation and execution of contracts.
- Managing project budgets and keep cost down.
- Overseeing the maintenance of projects after completion.
- Direct supervision onsite contractors, chairing meeting, contract
evolution and award.
- Identifying and matching needs to approved budget with project.
- Identifying ongoing project risks and assigning and mitigating risks.
- Reporting project status at progress meetings.
- Ensuring all resources (manpower and materials) are provided as per the contractor's scheduled plan.
- Producing test plans and reports.
- Prepare contract documentation for procurement services and
materials.
- Evaluating tenders and providing recommendations.
- Carrying out effective client liaison for all projects undertaken.
- Resolving complex technical issues and coming up with fast efficient solutions.
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
- Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise.
- Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
- Distribution of manpower and Activities as daily look ahead program.
- Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
- Ensuring all materials used and work performed are as per
specifications.
- Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant.
- Liaising with any consultants, sub-contractors, supervisors, planners.
- quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Main source of technical advice and quality control for everyone
working on it.
