1. HMGH Department Head (current), Operating 8 HMC hospital facilities / 6 health satellite in addition to Hamad bin Khalifa medical city (previous)
2. Opening and operating Bayt Al Diafa, Barwa Tower 3 / Barwa City office building facility (leased to HMC).
3. Planning, opening various HMC medical centers under the facilities department.
4. Creation of S.O.P, manning requirement, job description and directories of the facilities.
5. Design / evaluation of submitted concept / layouts of sub-contractors in various outlets in HMC facilities, project‘s revision with the engineering / architects and internal decoration divisions, authorising phases and method statements.
6. Creating, authorising critical path, milestones and scope of work for every project during the facility opening phase.
7. Revision and authorisation of projects with environmental and safety, infection control and fire and safety departments.
8. Leading the design / layouts phase for all the commercial outlets in the hospitals along with the related HMC departments plus conducting monthly auditing and meeting following up on all the sub-contractors commercial operations (12 restaurants and coffee shops in various hospitals).
9. Creating project logs and leading a team of project managers per facility.
10. Recruitment of staff for all the facilities, managed a team of 190 HMC staff / 800 sub-contractors, supervisors and managers (Production, Hygiene, Service)
11. Overlooking training department: staff training / on-job training.
12. Finalizing tenders and contracts, revision and submission to tender committee.
13. Implementation of contracts as per the agreed scope of work.
14. Inter departmental: hospital administrations, public relations, communication, compliance, reservations, front office, engineering, environmental and safety, Infection control, waste management, housekeeping, maintenance, security, laundry.
15. Prepared monthly & yearly reports, forecasted reports, occupancy, snagging, stocks, equipment lists.
16. Prepared and conducted semi-annual and annual assessments of employees based on pre-agreed key performance indicators.
17. Handled the catering operations, functions & conferences in HMC: Medical Education and Hamad bin Khalifa medical city.
18. Work closely with corporate Hospitality Department executive divisions.
19. Purchasing analysis, facilities inventory stock maintaining, tracked shipments and orders with HMC materials management.
20. Inter-hospital communications with ED / AED / AEDON in various departments, detailed information relative to group activity.
21. Catering Patients menu planning along with nutrition’s and other medical department collaboration, implementing it in the Cerner / Menu Logistics system.
22. JCI 5th edition, ISO 9001 (quality), HACCP 22000 compliance and implementation.
23. Maintaining an accurate function book and filing system for the Catering department.
24. Maintain an accurate tracking of signed function contracts, Terms & Conditions, and rooming lists.
25. Conducting monthly auditing and meeting following up on all the Sub-contractors operations (Hospital service and commercial), creating and implementing SLA, KPI and penalty system.
26. Planning the yearly budgeting and forecasts (Opex, Capex) with the department’s cost controllers.
27. Serious and Major Incident Programs creation of drills and actual exercise. (HMC and National).
28. Creation and implementation of SLA / KPI yearly renewals with all facilities.
29. Supervise Quality Audit and Food Safety Audit Teams (catering).
30. Analyzing complaints or concerns that arise within the relative departments, initiating investigations with the food safety, quality and hygiene team.
