3G/WCDMA Optimization:
* Planning for Zain Jordan HSPA+ network by technical site survey to define the physical parameters such as Azimuth, Tilt, antennas height, etc. based on a Nominal Plan and site survey reports using MapInfo and Google Earth.
* Generate and extract statistics reporet from M2000 and PRS.
* Generate and optimize 3G network main KPI's such as drop call rates, HO performance, blocking and Call Setup Success Rates based on daily worst cells reports.
* Performing Site Audit in order to install new sites based on poor coverage and congested areas.
* Perform 3G cell testing includes (User throughput, Latency, RSCP, Ec\No and SQI) using TEMS Investigation and Data Cards.
* Solving customer complaints in terms of poor coverage or bad quality by taking proper actions.
* Monitoring user activity based on IMSI tracing, signaling and messages tracing using M2000.
* Technical support for 3G user devices (Routers and Data Cards).
2G/GSM Optimization:
* Generate and optimize 2G network main KPI's such as drop call rates, HO performance, blocking and Call Setup Success Rates based on daily worst cells reports.
* Perform and Analyze drive tests using TEMS Investigation and generates reports with recommendations and actions.
* Optimization of sites that showed coverage problems or interference problems by changing Azimuth, tilts, antenna heights or changing frequencies.
* Adding new sites or new sectors in the areas which has bad RF conditions and do the necessary site survey by choosing best candidates with proper configuration and work with other departments to complete the process.
* Follow customer complaints issues by visiting customers and obtain appropriate solutions.
* Update the map of the 2G\3G network using MapInfo on weekly basis.
* Perform network evaluations and comparative testing with competitor's network by analyzing TEMS and QVoice logs.
* Monitoring RxL, RxQual, C\I, SQI and other RF parameters of serving cells in 2G networks.
After about one year on Zain call center, I took training for ZAIN-DATA (Zain-ISP) department. Zain provides Internet service to its customers in several ways, ADSL home subscribers and Leased Line subscribers companies in addition to the availability of the Internet via Microwave Link and fiber optics. Also I helped customers with their problem with internet. Also I helped customers with their problem with internet. In addition to wireless internet (WIMAX), where I took training for initializing and troubleshooting service for customers. Also, I mention email hosting and trouble shooting.
On this job my main responsibility was to deal with customers and to make sure to solve their problems and to be updated with the new promotions and services offered by the company. Also, there was a standard to deal with customers to achieve their satisfaction. Also, I have little knowledge with Blackberry service provided by Zain.
University training course, I trained at maintenance section of network department in the BSS implementation section. also, i was intoduced to all main compenets of GSM network at zain.
