● Plan and schedule the project by developing a
project master schedule in line with the proposal requirements through the application of the primavera (PRIMAVERA P-6) software.
● Prepare and manage overall master schedule
integrating work breakdown structure using scheduling software.
● Understand contractual matter, earn value
method, familiar with scope management and
change control.
● Coordinate schedule from multiple contractors
and incorporate the information gathered into the
overall project master schedule.
● Prepare cost estimation and schedule bar chart
plan considering all in puts (manpower, equipment's and materials) availability, production and construction sequences.
● Develop work method of statement or procedure
as required.
● Understand and able to utilize planning tools such as MS excel, Access, MS Project, Primavera P6, Maximo.
● Develop and update resource (manpower and
equipment) histogram weekly or monthly as
required.
● Evaluate allocation of resources and provide
recommendations to maintain required progress.
● Develop and implement plan versus actual
progress charts (histograms/S curves). Reports and
analyses deviations from plan.
● Track, monitor and forecast progress of all
activities and deliverable such as products, engineering documents, fabrication status and
construction of all discipline.
● Analyze gaps between the planned and actual
progress and highlight the areas of concern which
required action of the associate task member.
● Perform probabilistic analysis of completion dates and potential alternatives. Present risk based
analysis of most likely completion and expected
deviation range.
● Prepare and update three weeks and three
months look-ahead schedule that reflect the priority activities
● Liaises with all team leaders and/or members to
communicate required completion dates and
interface between functional team/operational
team and project team.
● Participate all meeting (i.e. schedule review
meeting, progress meeting, coordination)

● Review the Project Control Procedure of the
General Contractor for the project including the
PMS (Project Measurement System).
● Review the Contractor's Overall Project,
Construction, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning & Functional Schedules, Overall Progress &
Construction S-Curves.
● Attend in the Kick Off meetings of the General
Contractor & Sub-Contractor Companies.
● Develop the project status & construction status
reports for the management.
● Attend the weekly & monthly construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning & startup progress review meetings.
● Analyze the figures, status of the project in the
weekly & monthly provided reports by the contractor.
● Develop and maintain complex critical path logic
networks and bar charts.
●Schedule Risk Analysis.
● Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts current status
against an established baseline schedule.
● Assesses the impact(s) of design or construction
changes and schedule slippages.
● Reports schedule status to all levels of project and Company management.
● Implements and maintains an Earned Value
Management System on the project.
● Analyzes cost and schedule performance indicators (CPI and SPI).
● Prepares and maintains project forecasts and
status updates.
● Provides assessment with corrective action
recommendations to management.
● Prepare the Master Schedule for the General
Contractor.
● Close interaction with the project teams to
formulate informed and logical master schedules to appropriate levels of detail.
● Appraise appropriately any schedule variance to
Project Teams following approval by Contractor.
●To interact with representatives of the Consultants and the Construction Contractor(s), to ensure the desired project objectives are delivered.
● Gather/obtain adequate knowledge and
information about the business and the projects in
order to make informed value-adding recommendations to the Project Teams.
● Assist PMC Management with the definition and
implementation of criteria for control and management of the project, in particular the
project schedule.
● Co-ordinate the development of project schedules with all stakeholders throughout the
project lifecycle.
● Co-ordinate the progress reporting of project
schedules with all stakeholders throughout the
project lifecycle.
● Identify and advice management of risks that may
affect the project schedule.
● Assisting the management team, design team and
site delivery team in the resolution of scheduling
problems.
● Assist in coordinating and fostering teamwork
between all project stakeholders
● Assist management in establishing an effective
and universal strategy to address major schedule
issues that may arise with the site delivery team
● Engage with the Site Delivery Team to ensure
collaborative problem solving.
● Receive and review detailed reports on the
project from the site delivery team, particularly
program related.
● Assist in establishing/delivering formal reporting
arrangements on project progress for the Client and Company.

●Delivering optimized functional 8Q, 12 weeks and 6 week schedules that are integrated across the area.
● Ensuring that 8Q, 12 weeks and 6 week functional schedules for the function are fully
populated, resource leveled and deliverable within function constraints.
● Liaising with functional SPAs to understand and
optimize level 1, 2 and 3 activities.
● Recommending which activities to execute or
reschedule when the activity set exceeds functional constraints.
● Effectively managing changes to functional
schedules.
● Communicating the agreed schedules to
functions personnel.
● Supporting the identification and resolution of
delivery risks, resource conflicts, emergent work and schedule waivers. Support schedule gatekeepers in assessment of schedule waiver requests.
● Applying specific Primavera capabilities in support of the function.
● Monitoring site execution efficiency: Update
progress on functional activities in Primavera on a
weekly basis. Highlight slippage in the schedule and propose actions to recover.
● Reviewing site execution efficiency AP KPI
performance with the APFTL, functional leaders and functional teams.
● Driving continuous improvement in functional
scheduling performance.
● Liaising with contractor planning teams to ensure
alignment of company and Contractor plans and
schedules.

●Co-ordinate construction activities and manage
project interfaces.
●Schedule the project in logical steps and budget
time required to meet deadlines. (MSP)
●Determine labor requirements and dispatch
workers to construction sites.
●Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned
with the construction and maintenance of
structures, facilities, and systems.
●Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
●Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to
administrative staff, workers, and clients,
representing the owner or developer.
●Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements
with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and
subcontractors.
●Study job specifications to determine appropriate
construction methods.
●Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
●Develop and implement quality control programs.
●Work in partnership with the Contractor; develop a spirit of mutual trust and co-operation.
●Ensure through on-site supervision that the
construction works are undertaken to required
designs, specifications, standards and HSQE
requirements.
●Manage, supervise the contractor under the
contract assigned by Project Manager undertake
contract administration, e.g.
●Monitor site progress including installation,
fabrication & erection of required equipment
●Monitor project cost and provide Project Manager with timely identification of deviations from budget.
●Ensure that quantities of completed work items are agreed with the Contractor.
●Ensure maintenance of daily records of all site
activities, including information on labor and plant,
and any non-compliant materials or workmanship.
●Identify problematic design issues and make
recommendations that support engineering
procedure as well as ensure the construction
schedule is maintained.
●Ensure Safety best practices are being utilized
during all site activities

●Set work program and target milestones for each
phase based on the project plan.
●Database provision of works being carried out onthe site (Excel, MS Project)
●Checking of fabrication & installation works being
carried out on the site
●Submission of daily, weekly and monthly reports
●Monitor critical activities based on the project
schedule and advise project management.
●Prepares and submit updated work program and
cash flow curve showing actual progress and
identify areas of weakness and establishes means
and methods for recovery, if any, as well as new
critical activities.
●Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report.

●Maintain and record update of site work progress
obtained from Project Manager.
●Prepares monthly report reflecting work progress summary.
●Report to the Project Manager about the current
work progress and make comparison between plan
and actual progress and study impact of alternative
approaches to work.
●Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required.
●Assists in preparing work program, cash flow and
manpower histogram for tenders.
●Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
