1) Perform Cosmetic Blepharoplasty (American Fox Eyes VS Cats Eyes Surgical Technique)
2)Provide a written decision (approval, denial or need additional information) on eligibility issues for each case reviewed on the date of the review
3)Provide medical advice regarding policy development, standards and procedures in relation to eligibility based on vision for the Division's Medical Eye Care, Independent Living and Vocational Rehabilitation Programs
4)Review medical records and determine eligibility for Medicaid Program applicants who have vision loss for the Division of Social Services and provide medical advice to the Division of Medical Assistance
5)Provide a full spectrum of care, including routine eye exams, diagnosis and medical treatment of eye disorders and diseases
6)Perform local anesthesia and surgical procedures
7)Prescribe and administer various ocular and systemic medications
8)Formulate plans and procedures for ophthalmological services
9)Complete eye exams and perform eye surgery
10) Participate in the didactic teaching program including supervising medical staffs
11)Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with patients as monitored by the Center's patient experience survey.
12)Participate in clinical research and scientific presentations at national/regional meetings as appropriate with academic track

1) Perform examinations to determine the overall health of the patients’ eyes looking for issues like macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataracts, or other ocular conditions that impaired vision.
2) Make a diagnosis and determine a treatment plan with the goal of correcting the issue.
3) If a patient’s diagnosis requires surgery, perform the necessary surgical procedure.
4) Prescribe ophthalmologic treatments or therapies such as chemotherapy, cryotherapy, and low vision therapy.
5) Diagnose or treat injuries, disorders, or diseases of the eye and eye structures including the cornea, sclera, conjunctiva, retinal, or eyelids.
6) Ability to commit 3-5 hours per week including emergency case reviews on an as needed basis
7) Manage neuro, rheumatological, and trauma related eye conditions.
8) Participate in clinical research and scientific presentations at national/regional meetings as appropriate with academic track.
9) Responsible to perform all duties and responsibilities as delineated in your deeming and scope of services as approved by the Medical Director.
10) Participate in the didactic teaching program including supervising medical staffs

23) Develop and monitor therapy and treatment plans based on lab review and analysis of results following established standards, procedures, and practices.
24) Prescribe medication dosages and frequencies and provide counsel to patient for possible side effects and/or interactions with other substances; detect and respond to any adverse drug reactions.
25) Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and clinic staff and administration.
