 Chasing up overdue payments via telephone and email
 Resolving more than 250 customer's queries and issues
 Reviewing credit applications and references
 Reviewing different legal entities and credit verification process to ensure credit worthiness
 Setting credit limits
 Receipting, allocation and reconciliation of payments to customer’s accounts

Main Duties and responsibilities:
 Day to day Maritime Office Accounting.
 VAT Submission
 Handling Local and Foreign Bank Accounts i.e.
 Payments, Bank Reconciliations, Establishing
 Assist in Account Settlement, Auditing.
 Review invoices in accordance with terms and conditions of CoAs and Charter Parties.
 Monitor collection and perform AR and AP control for invoices issued and assist in Cash Management.
 Corresponding with worldwide suppliers.
 Verify & process supplier invoices to ensure matching PO’s with invoice and payment terms.
 Check Monthly Expenses including reconciling, querying and comparing actual to projected and budgeted expense.
 Verification of Petty Cash advance Account.
 Preparation of various MIS reports and other reports as required by the Management.
 Support Operations team and General Affairs.
 Develop and maintain document control processes for the efficient management.
 Assist with various reporting, documentation and other tasks as required from time to time.

▪ Managed the end-to-end payroll processing lifecycle, accounted for routine
salaries, bonuses and overtime. Checked and sent job files to clients for
invoicing, liaised with client and ensured timely receipt of payments.
▪ Prepared employee timecards and hourly time sheets ensured accuracy of calculations and corrected any
discrepancies prior to posting the same to client.
▪ Planned the employee roster, their week off and standby schedule.
▪ Handled several routine accounting transactions and posting of various vouchers, billing, entries, invoices, and
quotations.
▪ Drove the bank and cash reconciliation exercise on a weekly and monthly basis.
▪ Supported the accounts payable team ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entering invoices and creation of
payments.

Key Responsibilities:
▪ Managed end to end accounting functions, prepared sales invoices and the daily reports as requested by management
▪ Preparation of export LC documents and maintained the ledger for export LCs in hand and presented the same at
banks.
▪ Handled local vendor payments, analyzed the debtor’s ledger, tracked, and chased outstanding and delayed
payments, in addition to pursuing legal actions against willful defaulters.
▪ Performed bank reconciliation as well as reconciliation of the debtors and creditors ledger, dealing with all kinds of
JV’s, Credit Notes & Debit Notes
▪ Responsible for payroll management, petty cash management, VAT, TDS, and tax preparation (monthly and yearly)
and submission.
▪ Prepared supporting schedules for audit and management purposes, performed voucher verification by searching
supporting documents.
▪ Managed stock effectively using LIFO or FIFO norms as applicable, prepared inventory, production, and raw materials
utilization report.
▪ Accounted for employee benefits, performed punching of employee’s duties and overtime management as well.
