A joint venture of Marcolin SpA, Italy and Rivoli Group of UAE, formed to distribute premium eyewear brands in the GCC & Egypt, formerly a wholly owned subsidiary of Rivoli Group LLC.
Key responsibilities involved,
Developed the distribution strategy and sales plan for the diffusion brands in KSA & Qatar,
Sales plan to target achieving 20K units in FY17 on the Diffusion brands as against 9k units in fy16.
Managing the sales cycle of product planning, distribution, placement, incentive design & implementation.
Travel extensively to these markets, developing networks, evaluating new dealers, monitoring market trends, competitor activities, etc.
Proposing credit terms to existing retail partners based on their history, potential, etc.
Key account and inventory management of key partners, inventory analysis, proposals of replenishments.
Distributors for diffusion brands like Diesel, Guess, Harley Davidson, Gant, Sketchers, in KSA & Egypt.
Career Achievements:
Conceptualized a kiosk concept retailing exclusively Marcolin brands in KSA and identified the retail partners to roll out the retail venture, with an initial 12 kiosks to open in the first phase.
Developed the Mont blanc eyewear from 3, 500 units in FY’10 to 20, 000 units in FY’14.
Developed the retail network from 124 doors to 356 doors.
Successfully introduced new eyewear brands like Zegna, Galliano, St. Dupont, Dsquared, Diesel, Swarovski to the KSA markets.
Developed an exclusive shop in shop project with a well- known perfume retailer in Abraj al bait, Makkah retailing only Marcolin brands.
