Responsibilities:
o Source, and validate new raw materials and new suppliers (Local/Foreign).
o Benchmark of different commodities prices and keep the aligning with the price index locally/globally.
o Manage the new projects’ procurement activities and cooperate with Quality, Process, and R&D teams to
validate new raw materials/suppliers whenever needed.
o Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers.
o Prepare the budget plan for next year for all items’ families.
o Record and update data of items, suppliers' details, and safety stock on the ERP system.
o Evaluate suppliers in terms of quality, logistics, responsiveness, technics & innovation, business relationship,
and competitiveness.
o Asses the commodity risk and evaluate the supplier’s financial health to take preventive actions.
o Visit suppliers’ sites and implement constructed audit in terms of safety, manufacturing, and specified process
at suppliers’ sites (Current and New).
o Prepare the action plans with suppliers to solve the issues observed during the management review visit.
o Follow with our suppliers to submit their certificates of RoHs, REACH, NANOPARTICLES, POP, RARE EARTH,
PRECIOUS METAL certificates to align with company regulation and to meet exporting requirement to Europe.
o Localize the items that could be fabricated in the local market with the same quality and lower cost.
o Coordinate with other global sites to find solutions for any material supplying issue we or they might face.
o Support the supply chain team in terms of planning regarding the needed safety stock and order quantities in
case there is a potential shortage risk either with the supplier or potential supply chain issue.
o Support purchasing team to solve communication with the supplier or shipping schedule.
o Cooperate with other teams to mitigate the risks caused by any of global crisis.
Acheivments:
• Succeed to double source from different suppliers to supply us with different commodities with the same
quality, while saving a cost of 255, 000 € annually and could reach 850, 000 €/year.
• Convinced our management to be open sourcing from the far east such as India and Korea

Responsibilities:
o Managed all foreign Sourcing, procurement, and purchasing activities (PR, offers, negotiations, PO, logistics,
financial activities, receiving quality, Etc.) for all the new machines, Spare parts, and consumables for all 3
factories and 19 quarries.
o Developed the purchasing plan for all items based on the historical consumption and/or production plan
aligned with the company's financial and budgeting strategies.
o Worked collaboratively with operation management, finance, and cost control to ensure the efficiency of the
procurement process.
o Collaborated with management in the negotiation of contracts and lines of credit with suppliers.
o Prepared, maintained, and reviewed purchasing files, records, price lists, and the status of current orders.
o Monitored the received goods, if exists quality issues, damage replacements, and warranty claims.
o Managed all communication with our foreign/local suppliers to solve any chronic technical problems we face in
our production line and machines.
o Cooperated with the operation, sales, and accounting departments to achieve maximum utilization and
benefits from our ordering plan and deals.
o Localized items by cooperating with the local purchasing team.
o Met prospective suppliers to determine prices, discounts, and terms.
o Managed local suppliers who supply the equivalent goods we purchase from abroad.
o Followed up with a team and revised their reports about tools performance to evaluate and increase the
productivity of the tools and reduce the final cost per produced unit. Shared the results with our suppliers for
developing the tool performance.
o Reported to the Supply Chain Director and CEO.
Achievements
• Successfully negotiated and signed a contract with one of the express freight service providers which saved the
cost of our freight charges (inbound, outbound) to a minimum of 30% yearly.
• Reduced the cost of tools significantly in a project during 2018/2019/2020 by doing a minor change of tool
components that we buy from abroad (about 40% reduction).
• reduced the purchasing volume from abroad by reviewing the actual consumption and actual needs in addition
to localized some of the imported items.
• Led the installation of ten machines in the scope of Material, Technical assistance, and Performance
evaluation.
• Supported solving mechanical, electrical and software problems with machines suppliers by co-operating with
the technical team.
• Led some learning sessions by cooperating with ExxonMobil Egypt to deliver technical knowledge to our team.

o Leaded four production teams (40 technician and worker).
o Managed European Products “Sheeting/finishing line”, Double Deck “framing and sheeting Line” and Carpentry production lines.
o Was being sure that daily production meets master production plan within a daily communicating with logistics and production control departments.
o Handled the technical/managerial issues that we were face during production to keep a good quality and performance.
o Co-operated with quality control/assurance departments to achieve best production quality.
o Attending meetings with components suppliers, discussing about the technical issues, and finding cooperation chances.
o Continuous Improvement by using lean manufacturing tools included 5s.
o Transferred the know-how and guided new Indian engineers and workers within my mission for launching a new branch of the MCV in India, sponsored by Mercedes Benz -India among an Egyptian team. After I had accomplished my mission, I received a special thank you e-mail from Acting Deputy Chairman of the Technical Sector regarding my good job that I had paid.
o Monitored and Solved more than 250 technical issues with Design department, and about 100 issues with process department.
o Reduced consumption cost of carpentry line with about 200, 000 LE/year.
o Applied successfully the loading cards system at carpentry workshop.
o Developed the internal plan of the carpentry production line and scheduling the Job orders, also I have been responsible for this line to organize the work according to the company system.
o Reduced the scrap cost for one of our bus components around 30% up to 70% in the other models.
o Reduced the Indian bus cost by 500 $/bus during our study to reduce the grand total cost of the bus producing.
o Managed many new products at my department for various international customers such as UK, India, France, New Zealand and Australia.

o Learned how to gather information about the market and potential customers.
o Got experience in how to organize & follow up the meetings with customers.
o Reported to the Middle East headquarter office in Turkey.

Achievements:
o Managed CNC tube bending machine and trained the machine’s operator.
o Managed the 400-tons press installation and its base foundation with the contractor.
o Developed a production plan for the pressing department based on sales forecasting.
o Designed and fabricate a light weight metal boxes for handling the material between stations instead of carton boxes which request a high running cost.
