• Responsible for leading the Energy Service (ES) Field Service Control Technical activities on the very complex projects with specification and satisfactory handover to the Customer-owned Power utilities, Industrial power plants, Government and commercial customers.
• Troubleshooting activities of Mark VIe control system during Customer emergency / breakdown situations and also provide office based Technical Support to Internal and External Customers during idle time and on request of ES Management
• Ensuring proper and safe operation of the machine by evaluating the running parameters and troubleshoot control system problems.
• Sound knowledge in GE e-tools to retrieve technical documents and management of packing list, bill of material and drawings.
• Responsible for quality control inspections and testing where all in-field activities are carried out safely complying with company environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines and procedures.
• Gas Turbine Installation, commissioning, and troubleshoot the Gas turbine (Frame 5, 6, 7& 9) MK6e control System.
• Perform start-up/shut-down sequencing and turbine/generator operation
Supervision and control of operation & maintenance activities of the major substations
of Saudi Electricity Company in the Eastern and the Central region of KSA.
Experience with the operation, maintenance and installations of Power Transformers,
Power Generators, Current Transformers, Potential Transformers, SF6circuit breakers,
Vacuum circuit breakers, UPS, Battery chargers, Cable Fault Technologies etc.
Experience with the operation, maintenance, installation and commissioning of Power
Generators at various SEC substations.
132KV/33 KV/13.8 HV & MV Switchgear with SF6/VCB Panels, HV & MV power cables,
emergency power supplies, Variable speed drives VSDS, AC / DC Distribution boards, etc.
Involved in Design, Engineering, material selection, purchase, installing and testing of
field instruments, Loop Checking and system interfacing.
Responsible for managing the overall process and delivery of projects of various sizes and
complexity levels. Involved from the commencement/strategy through to design,
procurement, construction administration and close-out of the project.
Over see Testing/commissioning by plant EPC contractor and assistance, to ensure Minimum
shut down time and least disturbance with other utilities
Experience with operation and maintenance of Power Transformers, DG sets, Current
Transformers, Potential Transformers, SF6circuit breakers, Vacuum circuit breakers,
UPS, Incoming and outgoing panels, distribution boards, lighting systems, cabling, Relays
and Protection type switch gears.
Electrical installation work viz. Cabling, underground/above ground, cable trays, lighting
systems indoor/outdoor, grounding and lightening protection system, etc.
Handling independent charge of construction, operation and maintenance of Secondary
substation at Voltage levels of 110 KV/66KV/33KV/400V.
Coordination with vendors/ sub-vendors / statutory authorities like electrical supply
authorities/ electrical/inspectorate, day to day interfacing/co-ordination with EPC
contractor, technical, O & M/ commercial departments.
Involved in Planning and Execution of Maintenance Schedules for the Electrical Equipments
Responsible for the Switching operations and maintenance of all electrical distribution
systems.
Ensure Zero breakdown and upkeep of all equipments with maximum efficiency.
Preparing and Updating maintenance records/ formats/ checklist as per ISO17025.
Worked as Project Associates for Various Research projects sponsored by Government
and Private sector Companies.
