Led and coordinated projects as well as supervised teams to enhance patient experience and clinical outcomes.
• Analyzed and mapped processes, set action plans, prepared project timelines, followed up and coordinated with stakeholders, and prepared reports and presentations as needed.
• Managed and oversaw the Outpatient Clinics Department, including recommending strategies to improve stakeholders experience, optimizing efficiency, following up on activity statistics and live dashboard, ensuring proper access to care and smooth operations, as well as ensuring compliance with accreditation requirements.
• Collaborated with HR on several improvement projects; led the automation of the recruitment process online on the HRMIS system.
• Led and oversaw the preparation and implementation of Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), JCI, Planetree, and other certifications (as needed), including training of stakeholders. Skilled at interpreting accreditation requirements and setting actions accordingly. Part of the team that prepares for and rounds with the JCI surveyors during survey visits; was responsible for the round with the Administrator during the latest visit.
• Led improvement projects using the FOCUS PDCA methodology; examples of projects include the improvement of the integrated care plan process to ensure compliance above 80%, compliance with the bedside shift reporting process (improved from 70% to 90% compliance), implementation of noise reduction strategies around the hospital, implementation of fall screening in the OPD, and medication reconciliation.
• Conducted tracers related to the JCI standards; was responsible for JCI chapters such as the PFR, ACC, and AOP. Familiar and have worked on other chapters (GLD, MMU, FMS, etc.).
• Led the improvement of several in-patient documentation forms to remove duplications and improve documentation compliance.
• Collaborated in preparing a data entry guideline for the outpatient services.
• Member of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) steering committee which included preparing for and attending software demos and providing evaluator feedback.
• Member and chair of several hospital committees, including the hospital Executive Management Committee, Quality Council, IT steering committee, Management of Information committee, and others.
