• Built a tool to plan for required manpower capacity in each station whether internal labor (warehouse and shipment processing activities) or external (on the road delivery and pickup activities) using motion and time studies to determine manpower requirements based on the forecasted number of shipments, type of handled shipments, flow (origin and destination), etc...
• Designed systemic tools to plan for area capacity allocation for new and relocated warehouses and stations by using effective activity relationship diagrams, closeness requirements, historic volumetric data of shipments, staging area allowances, isle allowances and workstation distribution on operational ground in synch with Facility Planning standards to have such outputs ready in time to make decisions.
• Drafted, implemented, assessed, and improved procedural needs for newly introduced services including insurance, address changes, MPS (Multi Piece Shipments), MMS (Mailroom Management Systems), returns (reverse logistics), and weight consolidations.
