• Designed the full ERP system structure and information flow from an operational perspective taking into consideration the full value stream and including all related functions (Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Sales, HR & Admin).
• Planned for service and business continuity on the occurrence of several incidents such as but not limited to epidemics, natural disasters, political disruptions, regulation changes, severe data loss, etc... and ensured a checklist is prepared for each function across the company for prerequisites (to be ready as a preventive measure) and process activities to follow (when such incidents occur).
• Developed a cascaded model of business parameters and KPIs ensuring they are relevant to the company’s strategy and objectives, highlighted and introduced the relationships between KPIs across the company’s functions, ensured all functions have KPIs that are limited to few vital indicators and that a plan is in place for a sound data environment to enhance their measurability.
• Promoted operational excellence by carrying out process improvement initiatives utilizing operational analysis, waste identification, KAIZEN workouts, 5S etc... to eliminate, combine, rearrange or simplify activities and reduce overall cycle time and non-value adding activities.
• Reduced incurring labor costs by using bottleneck analysis and queueing theories to balance assembly lines of processing shipments across all stations taking into consideration operational requirements (regulations and security controls) in each region.
• Built a tool to plan for required manpower capacity in each station whether internal labor (warehouse and shipment processing activities) or external (on the road delivery and pickup activities) using motion and time studies to determine manpower requirements based on the forecasted number of shipments, type of handled shipments, flow (origin and destination), etc...
• Designed systemic tools to plan for area capacity allocation for new and relocated warehouses and stations by using effective activity relationship diagrams, closeness requirements, historic volumetric data of shipments, staging area allowances, isle allowances and workstation distribution on operational ground in synch with Facility Planning standards to have such outputs ready in time to make decisions.
• Drafted, implemented, assessed, and improved procedural needs for newly introduced services including insurance, address changes, MPS (Multi Piece Shipments), MMS (Mailroom Management Systems), returns (reverse logistics), and weight consolidations.
• Worked with the IT Department briefly to translate all systemic requirements of improved processes, newly introduced products, and services, etc... to technical requirements using wireframes utilizing DevOps as the main system and SCRUM as a development framework.
• Standardized supplier relationships from an operational perspective including introduction, training, implementation, and evaluation of them.
• Ensured correct implementation and control of current and newly presented procedures by supervising audit activities.

• Constructed the company’s Operations Procedure Manual including process flow, swim-lanes, responsibility distribution and policies and ensured correct implementation through periodic audits.
• Collected and analyzed data to ensure process controls are in place, subject teams are complied to internal processes and that no assigned cause variations are tackled without responses within outputs.
• Delivered several investigations related to process breaches, process variations, lack of controls and suspected risks and planned for mitigation of such incidents through tools of failure analysis (e.g. FMEA) to plan and execute preventive and corrective actions.
• Structured and built the Operational Service Reference Guide - a global reference guide for all company functions that explicates variables within the flow of shipments within the logistics network - including information of stations, contacts, rates, shipping requirements, shipping restrictions, applicable regulations, Dangerous Goods considerations etc... and ensured periodic updates to the same.
