SHAAMS is an EU funded project that aims at creating a Strategic Hub for the Analysis and Acceleration of the Solar Sector in Mediterranean region, promoting solar energy in the region.
• Conducting seminars and workshops promoting solar technology to different background stakeholders
• Preparing social programs to raise public awareness on energy efficiency through the transferability and implementation of good practices in legal, regulatory, economic, organizational issues and new financing mechanisms under concerned governments’ supervision involving Lebanese, Egyptian, Jordanian, Italian and French governments.
• Participating in defining and implementing a series of actions like “ Beirut river solar Snake”
• Identifying and highlighting the opportunities and different potentials of solar energy solutions for the social and economic development in the Mediterranean region.
• Gathering information from different agents and allowing analyzing the needs, expectations and requirements of different stakeholders and providing feasibility studies coherent with all the agents’ needs.

Mediterranean Ports Sustainability and efficiency in Intermodal Synchronization (MEDPORTS) is a project that aims to analyze efficient and sustainable solutions to optimize time synchronization on intermodal freight exchange
