Project: Strategic Hub for the Analysis and Acceleration of the Solar Sector in the Mediterranean Region SHAAMS.
SHAAMS is an EU funded project that aims at creating a Strategic Hub for the Analysis and Acceleration of the Solar Sector in Mediterranean region, promoting solar energy in the region.
• Conducting seminars and workshops promoting solar technology to different background stakeholders
• Preparing social programs to raise public awareness on energy efficiency through the transferability and implementation of good practices in legal, regulatory, economic, organizational issues and new financing mechanisms under concerned governments’ supervision involving Lebanese, Egyptian, Jordanian, Italian and French governments.
• Participating in defining and implementing a series of actions like “ Beirut river solar Snake”
• Identifying and highlighting the opportunities and different potentials of solar energy solutions for the social and economic development in the Mediterranean region.
• Gathering information from different agents and allowing analyzing the needs, expectations and requirements of different stakeholders and providing feasibility studies coherent with all the agents’ needs.

Project: Mediterranean Ports Sustainability in Intermodal Synchronization (MEDPORTS).
Mediterranean Ports Sustainability and efficiency in Intermodal Synchronization (MEDPORTS) is a project that aims to analyze efficient and sustainable solutions to optimize time synchronization on intermodal freight exchange
• Preparing feasibility studies for the project (including site surveys and market studies).
• Developing and executing project technical works and business plan.
• Managing resources and manpower needed for the project.
• Managing project budget and project schedule.
• Following up with the progress of the project to ensure the quality of work is as per contract.

Achievements
• Enhancing the process of the import of dry bulk in the port of Tripoli by the reduction of the permanence of goods by 10% and a total cost reduction by 8 % through the implementation of RFID system to different trucks and containers.
• Developing and Providing a full technical design and implementation plan for the project INARA (funded by the EU) that consisted of lighting the streets of HALBA Lebanon using solar PV
Project: Beirut City Center Shopping Mall
• Reviewing design drawings to ensure the compatibility of the design with standards and specs and preparing the related BOQ’s.
• Reviewing purchase orders and data sheets for long lead items.
• Following up with the procurement of Local market material and long lead items.
• Checking the compatibility of products specifications with client / project requirements within project budget.
• Ensuring good coordination between electrical and mechanical works and other trades.

My Masters Thesis is about: QoS provisioning in multimedia broadband networks using a novel spectral queuing theory approach. This technique was innovatively studied, analyzed and compared to other techniques through my thesis report. where the results of my research have been submitted for peer review in the prestigious journal ACM/IEEE Transactions on Networks. As a student I have been on Dean's honor list several times. I was a good student, hard working, attentive and would be recommended by most of the professors who taught me because I was always known to perform a good job very close to perfect.
