• Efficiently working in the Payroll Department in HRMS (Oracle system), thus responsible for end to end processing of bank payrolls (weekly / monthly), whilst ensuring strict adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
• Lend a helping hand to the users pertaining to how to do self-service as well as responding to technical problems or user’s mistake in HRMS to ensure smooth functioning of the operation in an efficient and effective manner.
• Verifying and approving compensation/ benefits package, staff transfer, salary increase, grades and positions to ascertain smooth execution of workflow.
• Monitoring and verifying all payroll transactions on a weekly basis inclusive of loans, missions, advances, joining expenses, relocation expenses and leave pay out in compliance with prudent payroll management practices.
• Assuming responsibility for the approval of all monthly payments pertaining to overtime, monthly pay variable, special allowances & lateness and retro pay of earnings and deductions.
• Reviewing wage computation and other information in order to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
• Maintaining employee records and responding to internal inquiries regarding payroll matters.
• Drafting monthly reports encompassing of staff transfers, salary increase, promotions and staff resigned/ terminated for the senior management to aid further corrective action.
• Overseeing the supervision of all annual payments (bonuses), simultaneously processing and issuing statements of earnings and deductions.
•Updating and maintaining payroll records, thus deleting incorrect element entry in accordance with payroll legislation and processes.
• Maintaining accurate employee records pertaining to annual leaves, sick leaves, behavior and accordingly forwarding requisite reports to the upper management for further decision making.
• Instrumental in verifying new hired staff and updating staff salaries in GOSI online system, thus coordinating and administrating GOSI payment for all employees, ensuring accurate documentation of recruitment process and contracting requirements.
• Streamlining the preparation of periodic SAMA and various others reports and accordingly submitting the same to the Accounting Division & Compliance officer for further corrective measures.
