Responsibilities as Head of Information Systems:
• Oversee the planning, implementation and maintenance of the company’s information systems infrastructure including developing strategies to optimize the use of technology resources, ensuring data security and integrity.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify technological needs and assess and implement new technologies.
• Lead and oversee the design, development, implementation and maintenance of information systems, including hardware, software, networks, and databases.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the IT division including budgeting, resource allocation & performance management.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies & trends in the IT industry, and assess their potential impact on the company.
• Lead digital transformation efforts to streamline processes, improve efficiency & enhance the company’s competitiveness.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology for innovation and business growth; work closely with key stakeholders to develop and execute digital transformation roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and allocate resources accordingly; monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and take corrective action to minimize project delays and ensure successful completion.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders including cross-functional teams, ERP development team, cloud engineers, and security specialists to execute cloud network migration projects efficiently.
• Develop and manage the IT department budget, allocate resources effectively, monitor expenses, negotiate contracts with vendors, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Evaluate and select third-party vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality services and products.
• Develop and implement IT security policies, procedures and controls to protect the company’s information assets; implement security measures to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber-attacks.
• Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees about IT security best practices, ERP and the use of IT.
