Responsibilities: • Spearheading the maintenance of Data Center, Branch, and Head Office Network Infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency. • Designing and implementing secure Network and Security Infrastructure, overseeing network systems administration, maintenance, and backups. • Leading the deployment of IT projects, from scoping to timely delivery within quality standards. • Managing Tier 3 Network Infrastructure, including NGFW Perimeter Firewall, Switches, Load Balancers, and Proxies. • Mentoring team members to achieve performance targets and providing end-to-end support to end-users. • Directing the installation of Network systems in various offices and driving the adoption of new technologies. • Ensuring effective vendor management and supporting IT procurement activities.Promoting a culture of Cyber and Network Security, designing Backup & Disaster Recovery Strategies, and conducting regular DR drills.
Achievements: • Overseeing Tier 3 Network Infrastructure, encompassing NG Firewall, Web Application Firewall, Switches, Routers, Load Balancers, and Proxies. • Designing and implementing Forcepoint Data Loss Prevention (DLP) infrastructure, ensuring robust security measures. • Leading the design, implementation, and execution of Microsoft Office 365 migration for email services from Google Apps, incorporating comprehensive security measures throughout the process. • Successfully migrated Data Center infrastructure, ensuring zero downtime and seamless connectivity for global business partners. • Implemented Forcepoint NGFW firewalls across multiple locations, maintaining 24x7 network availability. • Led the migration of mobile applications to AWS cloud, ensuring high availability and stability. • Currently overseeing the migration of core applications to AWS cloud, creating segregated UAT and Production environments. • Implemented a comprehensive Disaster Recovery Center, ensuring business continuity in the event of system failures or cyber-attacks. • Spearheaded the successful integration of new business partners' networks into the existing infrastructure, expanding the company's reach and capabilities
PROJECTS UNDERTAKEN Data Center Migration (2020-2021) Led a significant project as Network Systems Manager, overseeing the design, implementation, and execution of network security infrastructure for a Tier3 Datacenter build in collaboration with Cloud4C, a managed service provider. Documented pre-migration infrastructure details and configured perimeter firewalls, Load Balancer WAF, and Switches to meet requirements and standards. Managed complex connectivity setups including branch/HO connections, 100+ Business partner connections worldwide, and 25+ VPNs with 100s static whitelists, including Government Entities like Central Bank and Emirates Identity Authority. Played a pivotal role in migrating internal applications and over 100 API accesses with zero downtime. Disaster Recovery Center (2021-2022) Established a Disaster Recovery Center with a focus on designing, implementing, and executing network security infrastructure aligned with Tier3 Datacenter standards in collaboration with Cloud4C. Ensured seamless network infrastructure replication from primary data center to DR Center, conducted mock and simulation tests, and verified application access and connectivity. Mobile App (Alfa Pay) Introduced Alfa Pay, a smart application for money transfer, foreign exchange, and value-added services on Android/iOS platforms, in collaboration with Mobile app service provider (M2P). Implemented robust network infrastructure, integrated with payment gateways like NI and DAPI, and ensured stable API access with load balancing and multiple proxies.
