• Responsible for Sales and estimation of upgrade projects.
• Responsible for control systems solutions proposed for all project. Review technical, commercial proposal for control system.
• Lead Proposal team for upgrade projects which incorporates intelligence, resource and financial management and ensure the best optimum solution is offered.
• Meet clients, end-users, conduct site survey and generate enquiries for upgrade
• Conduct site survey and workout detailed requirements for the upgrade, risk mitigation and propose solution
• Negotiating with clients and internal colleagues technically and commercially to realize a high level of understanding of the project requirements and commercial terms
• Responsible for generating new sales leads
• Preparing business forecast (annually/quarterly/monthly).
• Responsible for technical and commercial finalization of deals with SI’s, Panel Builders and End users.
• Responsible for pre-sales and after sales support.
• Identification of new business opportunities and development of strategies in coordination with management.
• Carrying out projects in-house & external meetings including initial contract review, bid
Clarifications & kick-off meetings, project reviews, handover from sales to projects.
• Project planning, scheduling and resource allocation to mitigate the agreed schedules.
• Project costing, project man hours forecasting and budget monitoring & reporting..
• Identify, document and assign project roles, responsibilities and reporting relationships.
• Set project objectives for individuals and monitor the timely achievement of those objectives.
• Appraisal of junior engineers, finalization and managing of sub-contractors and sub-vendors. Organizing the purchasing & expediting of goods & services to ensure compliance to project goals & scope.
• Ensuring that the project budget is controlled by conducting negotiations with potential
Suppliers & through effective management of the resources & man-hrs allocated to the
project.
• Identification and communication of any project risk related to delivery, cost, and scope.
• Proactively evaluate and manage project risk to meet defined objectives.
• Management of all project documents, technical datasheets, specifications & procedures.
• Assist in preparation of all necessary shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and all necessary legislation.
• Projects close out, lesson learn and provide feedback to associated stake holders.
• Prepare Techno commercial proposals for upgrade jobs.
• Evaluate technical proposals for solution proposed, Budget.
• Assist Sales Department as Solution architect and Support on preparing proposals.
• Successfully Completed Muscat Control Centre Project for Oman GAS Company. The purpose of the project was to integrate multiple systems ( Honey Well DCS, DeltaV DCS, Foxboro RTU, V Monitor RTU etc) into a Single SCADA System having advanced functionality which will facilitate better monitoring and controlling. This project was attempted by other companies before and was not able to complete. Hence the project was total reengineering from scratch.
• Successfully completed 2 phases of PLC/SCADA/MES project for Multination Dairy Plant (Freesland Campina) in Vietnam
