•I was responsible to company regarding New Installation, Maintenance overhauling, Defect rectification of Breakdowns to meet operational commitments of the Vessels.
•All types of Fire equipments were maintained, operated, tested, & necessary modification as needed by modern Industry to meet the International Standard of fire safety.
•Generators up to 1700 KW, Switch gears, Circuit breakers and all safety equipment associated with ship including navigation, communication. All machineries of electrical and electronics were maintained and tested periodically.
•Fully exposed to various safety procedures as opted by International level for assessing organizations for their working procedures.
•Responsible for new installations, maintenance, breakdown rectification, overhauling of all Electrical/ Electronic/Mechanical equipment & their associated accessories.
•Operation & maintenance of Chilling plants, refrigerating plants (where temperature of minus 25 degree C was maintained for provisional stores, Air handling units, large capacity air-conditioning plants.
•Fire detection & control systems, installation, operation and maintenance of fire detection, fire fighting and fire control systems such as Unitor, Salvico, Consulim and various other systems. All associated equipments were tested and maintained as needed by modern Industry i.e. presenting them for audit and inspections by independent third parties.
•Responsible for maintaining Passenger Lifts and cranes, Fresh water generators (R/O Plants), Effluent Treatment Plants, Sewage Treatment Plants etc. to their optimum operations.
•Conducted Vendor and Customer side Negotiations, Planned for order executions, and prepared Services, Purchase Orders. Provided personal interface for the customer satisfaction.
•Energy audit, safety audit & issuing of all kind of work permits. Closing all these permits and up keeping their records and presenting for inspection as needed.
•Assist Chief Engineer in allocation of work to various vendors AMC & general contract
