Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning, Business Portfolio development and responsible for the P&L for Washing Machine and Air Conditioner category.
• Complete Business Management, Sales Management & Marketing communication planning.
• Formulating the Product Lineup, New Product Concept Planning, and Product Positioning, USP development & Marketing Communication including Price Strategy.
Key Responsibilities: A. New Product Development and Product Management:
• Leading development of large and small appliance product categories o Large Appliances: Air Conditioner, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Microwave, etc. o Small Appliances: Mixer grinder, Air cooler, Induction cook top, Water Purifier, Air Cooler, Ovens, Cooktop, Chimneys, etc.
• Responsible for sale numbers and profitability of assigned category
• Inventory Management of the assigned category
• Identifying new product opportunities in the market, conducting extensive research with respect to competition and Identifying product gaps
• Managing new product Launches, product positioning, product placement and marketing & promotion of assigned products
• Streamlining development by managing vendors, sourcing team, third-party test labs and compliance agencies
• Project scheduling and tracking, team handling and resource allocation as part of the project management
• Being a SPOC for various departments like Purchase, Marketing, technical teams
B. New Product Ideas & Product Improvement:
• Designing Product Requirements based on market research and User Insights
• Building Subject Matter for the assigned product line
• Imparting training to internal and external personnel
• Preparing Marketing Plan, Sales brochure by coordinating with external marketing agencies
• Conducting features and in-depth technical demo/training sessions to sales and service staf
• Inter-department communication with marketing, sales, technical and customer service team
C. Compliance Tracking & Customer Support:
• Ensuring test standards and Indian Statutory Compliance for products
• Facilitation of testing & approvals like BIS/BEE/WPC through agencies and technical team
• Implement the work schedule and monitor progress of the work for timely execution of the project through daily/weekly/monthly reports with respect to review of the overall project
• Developing schedule for project completion that efectively allocates the resources to the activities
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the Project Manager
A. General duties:
• Implemented solutions provided by field Engineers to concerning service Partners
• Coordinated with spares management team with reference to part requirement
• Weekly performance review of all activities of service engineers & implemented improvement plan
• Diagnosed malfunctioning equipment and parts using test equipment to identify cause of breakdown
• Coordinated with internal teams and clients for accomplishing the desired customer service in a designated timeframe
• Managed customer requirements and ofered after-sales support services
• Monitored Reporting accuracy of Service Technicians & implement improvement plan from time to time
• Call scheduling and tracking, team handling and resource allocation for field service
B. Training and safety:
• Trained and managed multiple employees at a time, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and maintenance of high-quality standards expected by management
• Created awareness for the need of safety equipments for minimizing injuries and hazards for the field technicians
