Over 15 years of experience in the field of QAQC construction and the materials quality control of different projects. These projects comprise of construction of Dams & associated Tunnel Underpasses, Underground Portions of Metro Train Tracks in Lahore, High rise Buildings (both structural and finishing/Architectural works), Infrastructure Development, Highways, Bridges, Interchanges, Infrastructure and Metro Bus Project in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
As a Site Geologist and Materials Specialist, my duties on such projects encompassed the Construction of Tunnels with respect to Geological Hazards before &during excavations by different methods, support systems and the strengthening or providing of permanent supports to the tunnels and underground excavations as per the ground Strata. Source Approvals and quality control of different construction materials such as Embankment of Road, Asphalt for Road Works, Concrete Works for different structures, the Sewerage works quality with efficient but effective shifting and functionality of utilities during micro tunneling, new construction or rehabilitation phases & Finishing/Architectural Materials (Flooring and Walls, Dimension Stone, Paints etc.), Monitoring of concrete, asphalt batching plants. Also managing project laboratory and to furnish the Daily, Weekly and Monthly lab testing reports.
Incoming Construction Materials Testing, quality check and approvals, Attending MIR and Also Checking Material Approval Submittals, Raising any Site instruction, NCR in case of not fulfillment of documented Contractual Obligations.
Assisted Material Engineer in the field and lab quality control of construction materials.
Concrete mix design preparation of different strength classes of concrete.
Hot Mix Asphalt job mix formula preparation for road works.
Borrow area approvals for road works.
Engineering geology with a special work on the quary exploration for civil construction materials.
Applied Geology with emphasis on Engineering Geology with a special background in civil construction.
