I was required to accompany Irish troops on patrol or other operational activities in order to provide immediate medical care in the event of injury and illness.
Completed 6 months in Casualty Department duties during that time were :
Triaging patients.
Managing of Medical and Surgical and Gynecological emergencies
Resuscitation of patients and arranging as well.
Handling Forensic cases eg. Rape, domestic abuse and homicide.
Handling psychiatric patients.
