Customer Delivery South Asia

Working as Head of Customer Delivery in MasterCard, Gurgaon ofice supporting Operations, Technology and new product implementations for the South Asia cluster.

• TAM (Technology Account Manager) for South Asia and primary contact for all Operations & customer service and product delivery initiatives. Support the customer service and delivery for 68 banks in South Asia with a Gross Domestic Volume of $38.5Bn

Key Accomplishments:

1. Presently implementing the MasterCard Smart Data Gen2 for Axis Bank . SDG2 is the MasterCard Corporate Cards solutions suite for small business and medium and large corporates 2. Implemented Maestro e-commerce on MDS for the first time anywhere in the world in India. 3. Developed the product construct for Combi debit cards implementation and implemented and tested live transactions for three banks. 4. Implemented the first MoneySend program in the world with State Bank of India as the originating institution and YES Bank as the Receiving Institution. Subsequently implemented the MoneySend program with four banks as Originating institutions and remaining banks as Receiving Institutions 5. Implementation of Purchase with Cashback and Cashback without Purchase . Liaised with solutions delivery team for edits in MCWN to block PWCB on non-debit branded BINs and implement CBWP in MasterCard systems. Advise banks on identification of PWCB and CBWP transactions and build edits at switch level to comply with the regulatory requirements 6. Implemented EMV acquiring and Issuing projects for banks . Implemented both full grade chip issuance and magnetic stripe grade issuance for banks 7. Devised the process flow for Maestro cashback credits to the individual card accounts and currently liaising with MDS to automate the Maestro cashback 8. Working presently with Global Finance and settlements teams for implementation of Cross settlements in Indian Rupees

Customer service

1. Keeping abreast of all regulatory and MasterCard mandates and educating the banks proactively of the impacts to their systems. 2. Developed an implementation document for all new member banks, the first of its kind initiative 3. Developed MasterCard Operations excellence training module 4. Individual customized training to new member banks and periodic operations reviews and training for existing banks . 5. Gauge the training needs and conduct training for banks ------- conducted chargeback workshops, Release workshops and Simulator workshops . 6. Developed the Operations best practices guide and operations best practices checklist and circulated to all banks
Product Development

Worked with Global products and solutions team for development of a product for authentication of MOTO and SI and other card not present transactions to comply with the Reserve Bank of India mandate

Part of the team that has devised the Purchase with Cash back and Cash back without Purchase along with the interchange fees . Devised the product specs for smooth implementation

Part of the team that has revised the pricing specifications for new customers with respect to revisions in License fees and implementation of revised fee rates for new customers

Worked with the Prepaid products team for designing "Repower" product for remittances into cardholders' accounts

Revenue generation and internal Customer service

1. Monitor the Quarterly Member Reporting and liaise with banks for correct QMR reporting and arrest revenue leakage 2. MCBS Billing monitoring . Thorough knowledge of MCBS billing event codes and training banks on billing rationalization.
