- Understanding work scope, quantity and familiar with logical sequencing of construction disciplines.
- Providing detailed review, analysis and monitoring of the procurement and construction program of the Consultant, Contractor, Subcontractors and Utilities.
- Identify any potential or actual delays to the consultant or contractor’s schedule and coordinate with project manager to make sure project activities and contract milestones are according to plan.
- Support the production of periodic reporting data as required work closely on a day to day basis with the consultant and/or contractor’s planning team to maintain the quality and integrity of the planning process
- Support the production of progress reports, graphs and other data as required for the monthly and weekly progress reports.
- Reporting to the Senior Planning Engineer any risks, opportunities and mitigation strategies to maintain the project completion date;
- Conducting independent site visits to evaluate the contractor’s site progress against his program and reporting to the Senior Planning Engineer and Project Manager
- Providing support to the project management team in understanding the program risks and opportunities of potential additional works and variation proposals.
- Attend progress meeting with Contractors and Consultants to review progress and discuss proposed mitigation or recovery actions•

- Interact and co-ordinate with other business lines on various multi-disciplinary projects.

• Marine Methodology Expert
• Developing the Schemes, Sequence and the Resources required to execute Marine Pilling, Pile Caps, Piers, Pier Heads, Pier Caps and Superstructure such as Marine Viaduct, Voided Slabs and Navigational Viaduct.
• Planning the Manpower, Material and Machinery as required to execute the project with respect to fair and unfair seasons.
• Planning and sequencing the temporary works to be executed to support the permanent works in deep marine conditions.
• Preparing bar charts time to time to present the requirement of Manpower & Material.
• Developing the Revised Works Program and discussing with Clints and PMS.
• Scheduling the works and documentation for sectional completions in the Project.
• Training my juniors and co-Planning Engineers with the Project needs and revisions.

• Monthly Progress Review Preparation and demonstrating to the PMC and Clients.
• Evaluate forecast status indicated by Critical Path(s) for program schedules.

• Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications for all works under the contract performed ON or OFF site.
• Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non- conformance, NCR and Site Instruction, SI.

• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant.
• Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
• Agreeing a price for materials and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
