Role & Responsibilities:-
• Planning and executing projects to enhance the messaging infrastructure.
• Managing Messaging infrasturcture of ADIA consisting of windows AD 2008, Exchange 2010, OCS 2007 R2 and ADRMS.
• Design and deployment of Blackberry servers with High Availabilty (Version 5.0.2)
• Design and deployment of MDM (Mobility Device Management) solution (Good Technology).
• Design and deployment of new Blackberry Servers 6.2 (Blackberry Device Service).
• Managing DR site for email system.
• Managing OCS 2007 R2 for IM, audio/video Conference and live Meeting.
• Managing Dialogic Media Gateway 2000 with OCS 2007 R2 Mediation server for PSTN Calls.
• Managing Polycom devices CMA, DMA, RMX and HDX for audio/video conferencing.
• Managing Blackberry 5.0.2.
• Managing Email Archive Servers (Symantec Enterprise Vault 9.0) for emails archive.
• Providing level 3 technical supports to ADIA technical team for Exchange 2010, OCS 2007 R2, Polycom and Blackberry 5.0.2, 6.2 and Good Technology for MDM solution (Mobility Device Management).
Currently associated with VAM Systems as a CONSULTANT and handling migration project from lotus 8.0.2 to Exchange 2010 SP1 for ADIA (Abu Dhabi Investment Authority) and handling following responsibilities:-
• Designed and implemented Exchange 2010 mail system for ADIA.
• Designed and implemented DR site for email system.
• Designed and Implemented OCS 2007 R2 for IM, audio/vedio Conference and live Meeting.
• Integrated Dialogic Media Gateway 2000 with OCS 2007 R2 Mediation server for PSTN Calls.
• Integrated Polycom with OCS 2007 R2 for Vedio confrencing.
• Migration of Lotus Notes 8.0.2 to Exchange 2010 with help of exchange transporter suites on exchange 2007 and Quest Migrator Tools 4.3.
• Email Archive migration from Lotus to Exchange 2010 through quest tool.
• Email forwarding from lotus to exchange 2010 for all mailbox users
• Administration and Managing Exchange 2010 servers, Blackberry 5.0.2 servers and OCS 2007 R2 servers.
• Administration and Managing Email Archive Servers (Symantec Enterprise Vault 9.0) for emails archive.
• Updating Service packs, rollup patches and Security Patches.
• Providing level 3 technical supports to ADIA technical team for Exchange 2010, OCS 2007 R2 and Blackberry 5.0.2.
• Responsible for Managing infrastructure of Jubilant consisting of Exchange 2007 Servers (4 CCR clusters and 2 SCC (32000+ users), OCS 2007 R2 enterprise server along with all under lying components with the help of 8 L2 resources.
• Responsible for creating process documents, automation of processes, fine tuning of exchange and OCS servers.
• Responsible for client and vendor management.
• Responsible for capacity planning, incident management, change management, problem management and for coordination with different teams for smooth operations.
• Responsible for Root Cause Analysis of messaging problems and communicator problems
• Monitoring and troubleshooting various CCR issues.
• Responsible for taking escalations from L2 team and maintain high availability as per defined SLA.
• Responsible for managing Microsoft OCS 2007 Servers.
• Responsible for patching Collaboration Services Servers (i.e. Exchange Servers, OCS servers, Forefront Servers)
• Responsible for making various reports on Exchange, Microsoft Exchange 2007 servers (Growth report, Mail Flow report etc.)
• Testing and configuring the Exchange 2010 servers for future upgrade.
• Providing remote support on servers running Exchange 2007 servers
• Managing and troubleshooting any exchange services or server related problems.
• Managing and troubleshooting of Blackberry services or server related problems
• Staging the server remotely with use of KVM and Terminal services
• Providing support to end users remotely using net meeting for the problems escalated by L 1 / L 2 support team.
• Troubleshooting and tracking the message delivery related problems
• Installing service packs and patches on exchange 2007 servers
• Managing alerts through BMC
• Managing IMSS server.
• Managing and Monitoring Scan Mail.
• Symantec Message lab Gateways and SMTP server Management and Administration
• Preparing RCA for messaging problems
• Providing Training to L1 & L2 support Team as and when required
• Distributing Production Folders on different Production (File) Servers on the basis of Size requirement and make them available to the users using DFS (Distribute File System)
• Assigning desired permissions to the concern users using Combination of Global, Local and Universal Groups.
• Creating Group Policies to provide users Customized Environment (Logon Scripts, Desktop shortcuts etc.) and limited access to their local computers.
• Creating Offline Replicas of Production Folder on separate Server using ROBOCOPY and make them available to Production Users in case of some problem with Online Folders (Software or Hardware Problem on the server where they are lying).
• Keep a log of any activity (Inclusion, Deletion, Change or Configuration Change) in E-Mail System
• Installation and Configuration of Exchange 2003 Server required throughout the company.
• Creation and Deletion of Mailbox users.
• Configuring and Troubleshooting of Microsoft Outlook 2003 Clients.
• User Mailbox Management: Account configuration, Putting Mailbox Size restriction
• Maintenance of Information Store (Mailbox & Public Store both) on regular intervals.
• Troubleshooting of failure delivery of mails.
• Backup and Recovery of Individual Mailboxes and Information Store using Veritas backup software.
• Backup and Disaster Recovery of complete Exchange 2003 Server
• Addition and deletion of records in DNS as required.
• Reservation of IP addresses for users in DHCP servers.
• Upgradation of Windows 2000 servers to Windows 2003 servers.
• Upgradation of Exchange 2000 Enterprise server to Exchange 2003 Enterprise server.
• Upgradation of Group shield 5.0 to Group shield 6.02 on exchange server.
• Up gradation of Symantec Corporate Edition 8.0 to Symantec Corporate Edition 9.0
• Domain Controller switch to aditional domain controller using NTDSUtil in case of failure

• Installation, maintenance and upgradation of Compaq and IBM servers at various locations like Daksh eservices, Hi-tech Gears ltd., Mushasi auto parts India ltd and Honda auto parts India Ltd.
• Troubleshooting of various operating systems like windows NT, 2000 and 2003 under heterogeneous environment.
• Handled Hi-tech Gears Ltd. Bhiwadi independently as a site engineer looking for all hardware as well as software and network related issues.
• Manage Compaq Insight Manager to reduce downtime of all servers by proactive monitoring of hardware failures.
• Proactive monitoring of varied software on servers.
• Insuring that backup of all Servers is up to date and coordinating the same with backup administrator.
• Defragging all servers from time to time.
• Updating the servers with the latest ROMPaqs, Foundation agents, latest drivers, patches and service packs etc. A proper documentation and change management is done for all these changes. Updating all servers OS with latest Service Packs.
