Ravnit Kaur

I was teaching graduate and post-graduate students of Economics with a
specialization in subjects such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics,
Quantitative Techniques, Business Economics, Development Economics,
Industrial Economics, Statistical Analysis for Business, Econometrics, and
Operations Research. Besides the regular academic functions, I was
responsible for:
• Training students to use data analysis techniques with software tools
such as SPSS and R.
• Organizing seminars and group discussion for students on current
economic affairs
• Monitoring performance of students and motivating the low performers
• Liaising with management and students concerning academic matters,
employment opportunities for students, and training/career
advancement options
• Supervising examinations and evaluating exam papers
• Managing day-to-day academic duties assigned by the dean of
education
