As driver in the Protocol unit my duties included:
•Driving Protocol car, transporting honorary guest of KRG government, including foreign ministers and ambassadors
•Driving the escort cars ensuring security arrangement are in place in coordination with the security agents
•Take regular scheduled visits with KRG senior officials to different cities in the region
•Ensure car maintenance is followed according to schedule, and the car are in good mechanical shape
•Acting as tourist guide for guest, taking them to tourism sites and translating from Kurdish to English ( Erbil, Dahok, Sullymanniyya)
•Follow up with governmental department to deliver and follow up on several administrative issues, including visas for guest, permission for visits, and any other requested paperwork by the protocol unit
