Key engagements included carrying out financial restructuring of three Kuwait based investment companies, financial restructuring of a Kuwait based oil and gas services provided, pricing analysis for a reputed coffee franchisee in Kuwait to assist the owners for sale of the franchisee, preparing the business plan for a mobile operator in Iraq, carrying out the pricing analysis of a mobile value added services provider, assessing the funding requirement and analyzing the funding options for an iconic tower in Kuwait, carrying out the pricing analysis for a reputed Islamic investment company in Kuwait, preparing the business plan and carrying out the pricing analysis for a mobile value added services provider in the GCC region.
I carried out a wide variety of assignments across a diverse range of industries.
Key valuation assignments undertaken by me include, among others, that of a leading car rental and leasing company that was in talks with a local investment company that was interested in acquiring a stake in the same, for an investment company, for a holding company comprising of seven subsidiaries into several businesses.
I also undertook the valuation of an upcoming Islamic Takaful insurance company and also prepared the Private Placement Memorandum for the same. Further, I have conducted financial feasibility studies for real estate projects across Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Kuwait. I conducted a financial feasibility on behalf of a leading Kuwaiti company that carried out construction of three phases in the “Pearl” - in Doha, Qatar. I am good at preparing business plans and my most recent assignment was for developing a business plan for an upcoming airline that proposes to operate from Kuwait, serving the MENA and Indian subcontinent market.
I was employed with ‘Crisil’ as an Analyst in the Corporate Advisory department. A Standard & Poors company, Crisil is India’s leading credit rating agency and fourth largest in the world.
At Crisil, my role involved advising clients on strategic and financial matters supported by extensive research on various sectors and highly customized financial models. For one client, a public sector oil giant setting up pet coke facilities in India, I prepared forecasts of pet coke demand for which I developed a proprietary spreadsheet model. For a public sector power generation company that is India’s largest power generation company, I developed a dynamic pricing model for coal for their planned coal mine, I was also part of a team that undertook fuel selection studies for the public sector power generation company’s new plant. I also conducted a due diligence study of the business plan of a company setting up a beverage manufacturing unit in India.
As a summer trainee, I conducted a study on the Asset Reconstruction Market in India. The study also involved exploring the various ways in which an asset would be defunct, and the possible courses of action available under the SRFAESI Act for reconstructing the assets.
The UEFA B license is the first step for professional football coaches. It is followed by the UEFA A and Fifa Pro licenses. Various coaches working with elite academies and professional clubs internationally have the UEFA B license.
The UEFA C certificate for coaching adults is the introductory course to provide the basics pertaining to coaching adults. It is the first step towards the full fledged UFEA B, A and Fifa Pro licenses.
I pursued the Masters of Management Studies degree, a four semester graduation course for a duration of two years. It is an MBA program. The course inolved understanding of the management functions indepth, with special emphasis on team work, group dynamics and effective leadership. I choose to specialise in Finance for the final two semesters. I passed with distinction and maintained a rank in the top five through the four semesters.
I pursued the Bachelors of Management Studies degree, a six semester graduation course for a duration of three years. The course outline involved an indepth study of the various facets of management - Marketing, Finance, Operations and Logistics and HR. It also included aspects of taxation, business law and entreprenurship. I choose to specialise in Finance for the final two semesters. I graduated with distinction.
