Project Planner for Rhead Group working on behalf of National Grid, verifying contractor programmes for constructability and value for money on the client aspects of a contract. Duties involve interrogation of sub-contract programmes, ensuring timescales and budgets are met, supporting commercial and site teams to ensure appropriate management of a large programme of works.
Supporting the business in the planning aspects of running various projects throughout their lifecycle. Producing regular reports on the projects progress etc.
Working closely with the Project Manager and Project Q.S. to maximise the potential of each project, attending site meetings when necessary to discuss progress and update the project plan together with reporting back on any knock on effects to the business unit.
