Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supervises, controls and monitors implementation of materials inspection policies, procedures and classification matrix to ensure that proper quality measures are applied to all materials and services procured by Company.
• Supervises and endorses the definition of Inspection / Testing and Certification requirements for materials purchase through Requests for Quotation
• Endorses Inspection Authorizations issued to Third Party Inspection Agencies
• Endorses Payment Invoices submitted by the TPI for the services carried out
• Monitors the quality performance of the Third Party Inspection
• Review of vendor quality documents.
• Supervises, controls and monitors the Agreement for the supply of Third Party inspection Services at both Source and at Site for Minor Projects.
• Witness inspections/tests at manufacturers’ premises.
• Review and approve TPI inspection reports.
• Supervises and endorses the Inspection Orders issue to the Third Party Inspection Agency for provision of the services.
• Endorses Payment Invoices submitted by the TPI for the services carried out.
Special tasks:
• Develop QA/QC procedure for Minor projects.
• Develop proposals for improvement of procurement cycle for refinery operation purchases.
Sr. Supplier Quality Surveillance at Procurement Division, reports to Inspection and Expediting Department Manager
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
*Shop Inspection, Resident At Supplier Premises, In Europe and Middle East to Carry Out the following Inspection Activities for Pressure Vessels, Towers, Columns, Cigar Tanks, Fired Heaters, Process Skids, Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers, Water Treatment Packages, Piping Bulk Materials (Pipes, Valves, Fittings, ..Etc)
- Attending the Pre-Inspection Meetings.
-Witnessing Hydrostatic and Pneumatic Test.
-Witnessing the Manufacturer Fabrication Process, Marking of Materials, Traceability, and Material Identification.
-Witnessing Mechanical Running Test and Function Test.
- Witnessing Performance Test and Final Inspection of Pumps.
-Witness, Review And Interpret Radiographic Examination Films, Hardness Test, Ultrasonic, Dye Penetrant, Magnetic Particles Examinations.
-Painting, Marking, Tagging and Packing Check.
- Final Visual and Dimensional Check.
-Review Quality Verification Documentation.
*Desk Inspection, Responsible for the following activities in addition to the responsibilities listed under Q.S Representative:
-Coordinating SQ services with other project organization.
-Preparing and issuing supplier survey and quality surveillance assignments.
-Reviewing, editing, accepting, and distributing quality surveillance reports in accordance with project procedures.
-Providing project direction to SQR’s.
-Obtaining and resolving comments on the quality control plans when required by project procedures.
-Performing surveillance inspection of selected material and equipment at supplier’s facilities and preparing quality surveillance reports.
-Preparing supplier performance evaluation reports.
-Assisting/ participating in supplier capabilities evaluation process.
-Conducting supplier surveys and preparing related reports.
-Performing supplier quality control verification.
