East Dammam Site Development and House Construction Project
Reviews Project schedule
Design criteria, drawing standards and conventions, and design guidelines
Input to the Service Orders for Basic Engineering, Detailed Design and Construction Supervision services
Management and coordination for PMT team.
Engineering and design data review.
Incorporate existing design data, drawings, and specifications
Engineering Standards, Material and Performance Specifications, and Vendor lists.
Leads reviews of all contractor’s drawings, standards, specifications, lists and calculations, Engineers Estimates and Bills of Quantity in accordance with the procedures.
Attend Periodic and Design Review Meetings
Responsible for applying project plans and specifications for constructability, productivity and improvement.
Provides consultation and guidance to large and complex projects as required.
Provides technical direction and administrative guidance to staff involved in the development and application of innovative and unique construction methodologies required by projects.
Additional Capacity Project, Qatif& Riyadh Bulk Plants 2009 - 2013
• Works with the Project Managers, Site Managers, Field Engineers and Contractors, to provide a cross discipline/cross team approach to coordinated construction activities.
• Supervising the installation and commissioning of new metering skid in Riyadh BP.
• Deals with civil work for Diesel Tanks and their dike wall.
• Follow up with material group to expedite material delivery.
Waste Water Project, Dhahran Bulk Plant 2007 - 2009
• Works closely with the Planning group, Project Operations Manager, and Site Managers to set the priorities of construction activities, resolve clashes and maximize completion of scope.
• Deals with underground pipes and submersible and vertical pumps for oily water system.
• Tie-in between the new sanitary water system and the existing system.
• Process Change Orders and Cost Estimations.
Two Grades of Gasoline Project, RT Refinery 2004 - 2007
• Works directly with the Construction and Project Management Team and provideafull construction support.
• Deals with shipper pumps, Motor Operated Valves (MOV) and die sensor for distinguishing premium and super-premium gasoline.
Qatif Facilities Project, Berri Gas Plant 2003 - 2004
• Supervise early work for mega-project leading a team of multi-discipline site management.
• Deals with piping activities (Hot-Taping and normal Tie-In, Hydrostatic and pneumatic test, and construction).
• Coordinates all concerns between the proponent, Project Management and the construction contractor. This involves progress reports.
• Install HVAC system for control room.
Ethane Recovery Project, Berri Gas Plant 2002 - 2003
• Exposed to daily referencing to industrial standards.
• Helps construction agency to develop method of statement and Job Safety Analysis.
• Helps contractor to complete the work as built drawing.
• Monitoring and reporting of safety and environmental compliance.
Construction Engineer with Saudi Aramco (SMP) with
Senior Site representitive for Sulayyil Bulk Plant
Support the contractor for precommissioning& commissioning of new expantion.
Commissioning of new metering skids insatalled in the expantion.
Testing loading & unloading skids.
Work on Project close-out including performane items.
Gained experience in selecting proper mechanical seal and materials according to specifications and design criteria.
Worked with engineering department as an Auto-CAD drafter for drawings of production.
Worked on Inspection& testing of products(Dimensions, surface roughness and design) before being released to clients.
Conducted site visits to several companies for observing, testing, installing or repairing mechanical seal.
