Reece has managed the implementation, of a successfully health, safety and environmental management system across a number of K&A construction projects, where his has been responsible for meeting both legal requirements and client expectations. He is responsible for reviewing all contractor's CHSP, RAMS and where required provided constructive criticism. He has not only develops training package but will also deliver the training to ensure a clear message is provided. Through undertaking inspections, audits and site safety tours he is quickly able to identify both actual and foreseeable risks during the life cycle of a project. His consultation skills extend to both senior management to site operatives where he enjoys sharing knowledge, coaching and mentoring at all levels of staff across all K&A projects. Reece has successfully designed and delivered and number of corporate HSE campaigns, delivered TBT, on-site training as well as managing health and safety at corporate levels, to ensure a clear and consistent message. His can do attitude and his drive for a win win situation has resulted in success with both the client and its representative. Project : St. Pancras Renovation Client : Network Rail, London Underground
Duties and responsibilities:
• Appointed to Manage SHEQ in all areas of the business including the implementation of OHSAS 18001, 14001 and the maintenance of 9001 across the company, including the creation, implementation and monitoring of all new and existing policies and procedures relating to NWR, LUL HS1 construction and maintenance.
• Introduced and rolled out a training/skill matrix and competence evaluation across the workforce including all Senior Management and Site Operatives along with a safety behavior program, praised by our Clients.
• Investigated and analyzed incident trends and audit results to enable the company to prioritize its annual budget for the implementation of measures for the reduction of incidents and to meet training requirements and new initiatives.
• Produced a Contractors Assurance Case (CAC) for High Speed One (HS1) and over saw the HSEQ requirements of projects including the renovation of St Pancras Station and Dedham Over Bridge.
• Ensured the company maintained Link up Approval and AGS certificate for LUL. With two direct reports the HSE Advisor and the Asset/Fleet Manager. Conversant with all Network Rail & Network (CTRL) Standards and QUESH requirements
